Our 1st visit at this location. We had a good time. Delicious food, attentive and friendly service. We tried two specials and both were delicious. One was a Brocoli starter, and the other one was Lucknowi Chicken korma. My wife had an egg allergy and was looked after at all the stages of service. They brought a dessert plate with a candle for my daughters birthday. The server was very friendly, professional, and efficient at his job. I can't remember his first name, Singh was his last name. Overall, it was a really good evening. The only feedback I have is the music. Very abrupt in the volume and selection.

Amazing service from Raj and his team. I hired out the private function room for my wife’s 30th birthday party. We were able to place a backdrop and play some light music too. The starters, mains and desert- all delicious! The staff ensured food arrived in a timely manner, and constantly kept an eye on the guests. Overall- great experience at Mem-Saab!

Group of 24 for a special occasion, catered for to perfection. First and foresmost, the food was on point, not drenched in oil and with a different take on known dishes. The service was professional, accommodating to our dietary needs and staff were friendly. Raj did a grand job from the time of pre-booking to the end of the night. We had the private dining area, which allowed us to move around and mingle in between courses without being a nuisance to others in the restsurant. Plus it's not so private that you're completely secluded from the main restaurant. The decor and tableware made it feel special for a celebratory meal.

We visited Mem Saab on Saturday and had an incredible experience. We’ve been coming with the family regularly and it never disappointed. The staff was attentive and friendly. They are always very responsive to a request for lime chilli pickle. I particularly recommend trying the Bhaji for a starter, and Bombay Aloo for main. Overall I would highly recommend, and we will be coming back again.

I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews but I kind of have to. So the food was lovely - no complaints about that and the waiters who served our food were all very friendly, the service there was great.However, towards the end when we were all splitting the bill the service went downhill. In general a service charge/tip should be optional and up to the customer whether they would like to add some on or not. I genuinely give cash rather than on card that way it can be split between all the servers - I know this because I used to be a waitress.Here they add the service charge for you without asking or even letting you know. My mistake was not reading the bill properly and realised I was charged a service charge after I had paid. I asked nicely if I could have that returned and the lady behind the till kissed her teeth at me and rolled her eyes. She then informed her manager who also seemed annoyed that I was asking for a return - bare in mind that I was going to leave a cash tip. I did get a return but also a cold shoulder just for asking for MY money back that shouldn’t have been taken in the first place.I have nothing bad to say about the servers as they were lovely, friendly and went above and beyond however, the manager and that lady behind the till need to change their attitude. It’s rude and appalling.

The best indian restaurant for fine dine and great food. Have been there quite a few time for last few years still my favorite place. Great food overall starters are amazing, mains are great and they have wide range of drinks too love the cocktails . Can't wait to go back there. Thank you memsaab for great food and extra ordinary service. Staffs are so attentive and humble. 10/10.

visited for the first time, used to visit the old Memsaab a lot so wasn’t sure what to expect , but was pleasantly surprised with food and service. Not as huge as old Memsaab but looks classy, I like the how the restaurant is designed. The aloo tiki chaat was very delicious and rest of the food was also good, ordered samose too. For mains ordered daal tarja and paneer , ordered some jeera rice and naan as well

Visited july 23 on the reccomendation of a friend. Have to say the food and service were top drawer. The chutneys were so fresh and quite unique in flavour although we were glad we ordered the extra chilli pickle and mint yogurt from a quantity perspective. The starters were beautifully presented and really full of flavour. The mains were excellent and cooked to our chosen level of heat. Naan breads also excellent. Would definitely go back.

I’ve visited this place several times in the last few months and I can’t fault it on either occasion. The service is top class. The food is on a high level. The standard dishes are excellent but overall this is a creative menu. I would highlight a good array of paneer dishes. Of note, this evening was the achari paneer starter - I have never had a better spiced and seasoned paneer. Top of the charts in Leicester for me.

We have been coming to Memsaabs for over 15 years and it’s always been a wonderful experience,. However the last few times the menu & flavours just get better ! Last night I tried the Sukka Cod with a side of bindi Bargi. Poss my favourite dish yet .. don’t think I want to try anything else for a while. Flavours were amazing, & presentation is always spot on. Thought it needed to be said .. keep up the fantastic work ?
