Visiting just a couple of days before Christmas we thought getting a giant cookie cake was optimistic. Marta K not only made us a double giant cookie but personalised it with writing and even managed an absurd request for a silly picture too - and insanely it was ready in half an hour. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Will be back for many more birthdays! Highly recommend!

My daughter turns 8 tomorrow, weeks ago I asked her what sort of birthday cake she'd like, she said she'd love a big heart milk chocolate chip Millie's Cookie for her birthday. Good choice - I'm sure you agree!We made a trip into town (Leicester) last weekend to order this cookie ready for her birthday, we asked how we go about ordering at the counter and were told very confidently by the girl behind the counter that there was no need to order in store or online, just pop in and pick it up the day before her birthday, it would be made up in a few minutes and would last for 4 days - clearly trained on the subject, even adding additional information - bravo!Today after dropping my soon to be 8 year old off at school in Enderby, a good 30 minute drive out of town, I made my way into townto Millie's Cookies, to be told by a not-so-cheery member of staff, Pola P, that I would need to wait 1.5 hours to collect this cookie and that it would have to be a round one or the wait would be longer, when I asked why I wasn't told this when I made a special trip into town last week to order it, a received reply full of attitude and told that there were new members of staff followed by a sarcastic apology and a breakdown of her to do list for today, including being told she had 10 other orders to do for 11am! I shared my thoughts that new members of staff should have training before they start and shouldn't be telling people misinformation, I could have been one of those 10 orders waiting for collection at 11am, only for her to turn her back on me.As I'm sure you can appreciate, the day before my daughters birthday I have lots to prep at home but I find myself sitting in the highcross shopping centre wasting time and feeling angry and frustrated, feeling my only option is to write this email.I'm not sure if this will be seen, or replied to but feel staff training needs to be looked at as well as attitude of staff and customer service training.Kind regards, Sarah Goodwin
