My wife and I had lunch here and it was a bit of a mixed bag this time. We’ve eaten here many times in the past and I’m normally quite complimentary about the experience, but this time there was a slight problem with the food that means that I have to reduce the overall score. As usual the place looked clean and in a good state of decoration, the staff were their usual polite and helpful selves, we got Blue Light discount on our food and service was quick and efficient. We initially ordered from the Tapas menu and the food arrived quickly and looked great. However when I started to eat it I found that it was a tad too hot and spicy for my liking. My wife loved it, but I couldn’t eat the Tapas. Now that’s not the problem – it’s my fault that I’m a bit of a woose and can’t stand spicy food. The problem came with what I ordered and paid for as a replacement, which was a Margherita pizza. I’ve had pizza here before and it was always a good choice of a meal for me, but this time it was truly awful. The base was so very thin, overbaked and extremely crispy, and the filling was almost non-existent. I really should have gone up and complained, but by the time the pizza arrived I was fairly ravenous as I had missed breakfast, so this was my first meal of the day. I just ate it, but left the crusts as they were particularly hard and inedible. This is quite unusual for this eatery as I’ve never had an instance in the past were the food has been quite so bad – it’s usually top-notch, but unfortunately for me not this time. This won’t stop us eating here as I’m guessing that chef was having an ‘off’ day as far as pizza preparation was concerned, so we’ll be back.

Went out for a few drinks with friends, and played darts! Definitely worth the money! Staff are very friendly and served us very quickly, would definitely go again!

Visited for the arrowsmiths darts with a few friends from my football team. Was great experience and good value for money. Highly recommended for a social occasion with a few nibbles from the tapas range.

Me and my friends had a great night at Arrowsmiths in Oneils. It was our first night playing darts there and it went brilliantly. Jack was great in sorting out everything our group needed. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Popped in for a non-alcoholic beer and some lunch. The cricket was on the big screens, which was great. Staff were friendly and professional. Great range and value on the menu, the spicing on the tapas dishes I had didn't hold back......bravo. The only criticism was the smell of cleaning products, to be honest it was probably required as I know it gets busy on a Saturday night!

We went with a group of friends to play the darts at Arrowsmith, fantastic set up and fun modes to play for all types skilled darts players. As usual with O Neil’s Leicester great atmosphere, friendly staff and decent Guinness. Would recommend to anyone in the city look for afternoon or event of fun.

I enjoy the food at O'Neils, a real upgrade compared to Spoonies and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. A minor issue over a Groupon was quickly resolved by the manager and everything was great. The only thing I would say, and this is a society issue, there were a few football fans in, which is to be expected when a match is on the TV. But a few were rather vocal with their swearing. I know we live in a 'me, me' generation and maybe I'm a bit old fashioned but I shouldn't have to hear effing and jeffing spoken out loud. Of course, people use fruity language when their out but it's the 'everyone can hear me and I don't care' attitude I don't like. Otherwise, top class!
