One of my kids asked for pork ribs ( entrecosto) and he served belly pork slices ( entremeada/lentrisca) when I asked why he said that Portuguese entrecosto is belly pork..The new owner ,Albanian, nothing wrong with that ,but he was telling to a Portuguese client that he didn't know what entrecosto was.The same happened in the table next to us.The owner is rude and ignorant.

My husband order a steak and it was over done and tasted like bacalhau (cod fish). They forgot to bring a fried egg and brought at the middle off the coarse and it was over done and cold.My bacalhau (cod fish) was blunt and no flavour.Service took an hour, definitely not going back.For a Portuguese this is a place that I not recommend unfortunately.

I have been there with my family, the food take more than 30min to be served and when arrived the meet was black, very hard to eat, and the fried egg was dry! Pay a lot for nothing, the food end up in the bin. The lady at the till was very nice.
One of my favourite restaurants in Leicester. Genuinely friendly owners and staff serving great quality food. The homemade desserts are amazing.

Before Covid this was my go to bolthole for a lazy lunch by myself or in the evening with family. Our first visit after Covid and we discover it has changed hands and its no longer run by Portuguese folk. I was assured that their chef had spent a month learning from the previous chef before they departed.I did notice the prices has gone up significantly some extent can be expected in the current climate. The menu appeared reduced and there were no daily specials too. We ordered a signature prawn dish that consists of prawns in olive oil and garlic dressing accompanied by toasted bread. The prawns and toast were reduced by previous portions, the bread had been toasted well in advance was hard and hardly soaked up the dressing as its meant to do, the prawns were not fresh, hard and rubbery but worse many weren't cleaned still having the black digestive tract on them and something we unfortunately realised somewhere during the meal and hence didn't bother finishing it. The other salmon dish we ordered was again lacking in taste beyond natural flavour and certainly didn't live up to culinary experience or its price.The restaurant was practically empty, bar two additional tables to us and to not get it right says a lot and I nor my family members feel inclined to return though I always think everyone should get a second chance but increasing the prices colossally and coming up short is inexcusable. Even the left over prawns didn't merit a cursory 'was everything alright?' question from service.
