I filled up with fuel but they had a problem with the card machine and I ended up being told I had to pay again before I could leave, even though I showed the transaction as pending in my bank app. I then had two payments taken from my account. The manager was unhelpful when I rang up and said I needed to make the 10 mile round trip to get my refund. When I turned up to get my refund there was no apology and I was told it was not their fault and I should have raised a dispute with my bank instead! Certainly not the high level of service you normally receive from a Shell garage.

Clearly states online the garage is open 24 hours.Attended this evening at 8.10pm to be abruptly told by the older lady in the shop the station was closed. If you’re closed, fine, lock the door, if you forget to lock the door so customers can walk in, have some decorum and advise nicely. Thankfully, I have no need to return!

Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated at this petrol station by Jessica and the manager. When trying to fill up they wouldn't allow the pump to start, then Jessica called me in over the speaker to ask for my payment upfront with a shop full of people. At this point I was very embarrassed and shocked!! My van is sign written and only 2 years old so doesn't stand out in anyway. I spend over £400.00 a month with this company I'm absolutely gutted with the way I was treated and wouldn't even give them 1 star!! If I had the choice.

I had the misfortune of visiting this station recently. My closest petrol station, but I make a habit of almost never using it - however one of my cars cannot use E10 and I was running on fumes.Most of the pumps are usually out of action, on this occasion - only 3 of the pumps were in use.The station is so dirty - the concrete is filthy and you usually get back into the car with shoes smelling of diesel. The pump handles are grubby. There is no pay at pump. The prices are higher than other garages locally.It has been the same for years

Stopped for coffee and something to eat, coffee machine was ok but expensive at £2.40, the dele was not looking good with a bacon roll very dry indeed.

Used the new Shell App.. Works brill. Well impressed.. Receipt sent to my phone after filling..
You should try their diesel it's amazing, staff are not keen in you drinking direct from the pump though, you have to fill a Jerry can first before consuming

Went the other night and within a minute of me filling my car a large group of yobs driving mostly German cars descending on the place. Now smoking and using your phone isn't allowed but you can sit at a pump with no intention of filling up revving your engine (apparently). This is a massive fire hazard and the whole place stank of unburnt fuel. Several people were waiting to fuel up and couldn't because the group were deciding who's house to go to next! The attendants made absolutely no attempt to move them on.

Not adapted well to current times. No pay at pump available. Forced to pay at kiosk I thought I would be able to avoid going in by using the night pay window. The two maskless staff weren't going to do it. Won't be returning unless they sort this out.
