Another lovely meal at Sonrisa, excellent food & drinks.Fast, friendly & efficient service too. Big shout out from all of us to the member of the team on her first day, she did a great job.

Great cocktails, great food a little on the small side you end up spending a fortune to be full. But overall really nice.

My son and I went for lunch. We asked and highlighted our intolerant to spicy foods. Our communication was clear and direct, in English. We chose a chicken dish but first made sure it wasn't spicy. Unfortunately, after waiting 45 minutes the food came covered in pepper. Total lack of respect. My son tried to take the peppers out and eat something. We paid and left. I do not recommend the restaurant due to the lack of respect for customers.

I went a couple weeks ago on a Monday which was a quiet day. The decorations were stunning. I loved the aesthetic. I was served by Marley who was amazing and my mocktails were made by Alex who did a great job.I ordered the Ribeye steak as my main and it was the best steak I have ever had. The steak was succulent, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. I asked for medium well and that is exactly what I got. Sometimes when I ask for my steak medium well it either comes medium or well but these chefs got the balance spot on. I really enjoyed myself and will be coming back.

We were a group of 5 ladies doing the bottomless cocktail brunch. From the beginning till the end the service was amazing and our waitress Indiya was brilliant, very efficient and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, a lot of choices from the brunch menu and our cocktail were to die for. Overall 5 star service, food and cocktails will definitely be returning!.

Delicious food (cod loin is beautiful) but on the expensive side if you are a bigger eater. Sticking to the veggie and fish dishes is more economical than the meat dishes, which is what we did. Some of the meat tapas were over £15 per dish. The Rioja wine that has purples in the label with initials VC was lovely and has an average cost of £30 per bottle. Overall, it was a nice experience. Decor, waiting staff, and ambience are great. I would recommend a visit if you've not been before, but it's not for someone who is looking for exceptional value for money.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. We had to wait a while to be greater but was finally seated. We browsed the menu and then options changed which was confusing. We were told the we can have dishes as a tapas style which sounded ok but I wish I had of just had a starter and main instead. Food was well presented and tasty. Not sure I would visit again!

Came for lunch on Saturday, a year after our first visit and the experience was every but as brilliant as we remembered it to be! Food is exquisite. Attentive service. Fantastic cocktails. Warm and inviting decor. Great atmosphere. Can get a little loud, especially with hen dos etc but in a way that adds to the Argentinian vibe. Could not recommend any higher. We'll be back whenever we're in the Leicester area! ?

Not happy at all.Firstly took them ages to come take orders after arrival…Everyone’s food came out apart from mine, when I asked she said it would be another 10/15 mins…. By the time it actually came everyone else had finished and my sides to go with it had gone cold so I told them I didn’t want it.We ordered drinks with the food and they never came out, we asked for salt and pepper and sauce that never arrived either. To top it all off as they came to collect our plates the waitress said “you’ve done me a favour, I can snack on this later when I’m hungry” just not the thing to say when I haven’t eaten! The manager did rectify by knocking some money off the bill and gave us a free round of drinks. The food looked nice but portions really small.

Went here for my 21st birthday which i was really excited about, and this was told to the restaurant over the phone when booking. However when we got there we had to wait over 30 mins for the table, the staff didn't do anything to make me feel special on my birthday or even say happy birthday (which was obvious with the birthday sash i wore). After we ordered our food we were told that the food wasn't available on 2 different occasions. Not the best experience for my big birthday to be honest. The food was mostly ok and the vibe inside was really nice, just a shame about the overall experience.

One of my favourite restaurants in Leicester. The food is always great - the steaks are perfection! Great selection of puddings too.

First time I have been to Sonrisa for food, had a few cocktails here before they were always amazing FYICame as a work thing and I can honestly say I've haven't had food this tasty for a long time, I am still thinking about it. It is pricy but in my opinion it was worth it. We were upstairs which was nice the music was a tad loud so had to shout around the table a bit. Service was fantastic although I would prefer to put a tip on myself and forgo the service charge.
