Overall a great pub and a personal favourite of mine in Leicester. It never disappoints to feel welcoming and warm. We weren’t massively impressed with the ribeye steak unfortunately. It was overdone, lacked seasoning and was just not good. The meal was saved by the outstanding pies. I had the steak and ale pie. Absolutely amazing and probably the best pie I’ve had in a pub in a long time.

Decided to have lunch after shopping in the Highcross. Very welcoming friendly staff. Able to sit where we wanted. Good selection of no alcohol drinks. The menu is varied good selection, would cater for most people. Vegan and vegetarian choices. Good service. One of us had steak pie, gluten free pastry, mash potatoes and veg. Fish baguette with salad and chips. All served hot. Definitely will recommend to friends and family!

The Globe is a great pub in town. The food is really lovely with lots of options. The staff are attentive and have a lot of great suggestions. Would recommend for a meet up with friends for ease of location, food and drink choice. Definitely easy to enjoy an evening here.
