A great pub that caters for all with some great cocktails and fantastic beers. Food also looked good but didn't eat.

A lovely, well decorated bar at the bottom of the busy New Walk. It has a great selection of drinks and a good menu, all at reasonable prices. Always something going on, it has a fantastic atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

If you're disabled forget this place. There's stairs to the bar no disabled toilet only toilets are up stairs. I had to leave my drink that was 10p more than advised outside. I had to go to another bar so I could have a pee. ?

The best and only Sunday dinner you can buy in the city centre nice portions meat and roasties that melt in your mouth nice variety of veg the gravy boat is a bonus so you can put just the right amount of gravy on your plate also great value for money 2 for a £10 plus a free dessert with apple crumble the last 2 times we have been there delightful and almost forgetting the great hospitality from the staff

Nice place! The service was good, very polite staff. Food is cheap but still really good and we got offered a bit of free cake to try!! Would recommend, good for students :)

Came across the Grand Union by chance with my daughter and was greeted with a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. We ordered the Nachos with pulled pork and chilli both of which tasted delicious. The slice of free cake was a nice touch. Would recommend x

Went I later on one Saturday night. Not busy but the staff were fab asked us our music preference and got the dj to change it for us oldies. We're offered free shots but declined. Will return next time we are in Leicester.

2 roast dinner for a £10, note to self it was too good to be true! I wish I’d taken a photo, it looked and tasted like 80’s free school dinners, veg was cooked to death and the roast potatoes looked like they were microwaved! Well it it all looked like it had all been microwaved! I ate the the turkey and potatoes and the Mrs had quorn pieces! It was all very strange, I put the napkin over the plates as we went outside! Bless the waitress came outside and ask if we had finished our meals and asked us if we wait the dessert which was included! I had to decline and I felt bad when she asked me how was the food, I relayed it tasted very bad and looked like a microwaved school dinner! I want be going back, I would like to say it’s a good price point. But they should charge a bit more and do it better…
