Very rude lady who works in there. Not surprised they find it difficult to get staff and then keep them . Will never return and neither will my friends who are regulars at the weekends.

Good food, but they lost our food order. We waited 30mins before asking where it was as we didn't realise it wasn't coming. The only compensation we got was a free round of drinks and a cake. I would've rather have had a discount on the food but that wasn't possible. Given, it was busy and there seemed to be an issue with the iPad ordering system. But no one came over to check on us after a while as one usually does in customer service. We got a sincere heartfelt apology from the waitress who took our order, but received a frosty reception from the manager. Overall it wasn't the most pleasant experience, but given it was a busy day, it's easy to understand that things do go wrong and tensions are high.

I've just been for lunch with my Mum, we tried the Christmas menu. It was truly AMAZING, I don't think I have ever had better. We both opted for the Woodland Mushroom Chestnut and Brie Pie, it was delicious to say the least. The Mushrooms where so fresh and tasty, complimented by the Brie and vegetables in the pie. Each food standing it's own but adding to and complimenting each other. It came with roasted and fish vegetables and roast potatoes. Everything was great quality fresh food and exceptionally enjoyable. We had the Creme Brulee with Stollen & fudge for desert. Another mouth watering dish, again each part was individually so good and complimented each other very nicely. We still can't stop exclaiming how amazing it all was.

Advertised as Dog friendly. Managed to park in the carpark and unload the dog and grandson. Walked through to the front door only to be greeted by a member of staff telling us dogs are only allowed out side. There were recent reviews saying dogs were welcome which is confusing Thank goodness for nectdoor

8 of us had a great experience at The Park. All of us had a great meal. Thoroughly recommend the beef on the roast dinner. Melts in the mouth. Great value for money and the coffee is also first class.

Pop in for breakfast from time to time after a walk in the park. Food is always OK, not the highest quality, but not hugely expensive either; quite acceptable. What is increasingly getting my goat is that every time l order tea with my breakfast l end up with half of it over the table. This is because the metal teapots provided are so badly designed and/or the spout solder is shot that the tea has a number of exit points to choose from before it reaches the end of the spout. I mentioned this to the waitress on my last visit, when requesting extra napkins to clear up the nice pool of tea on my table. She brought the napkins but wasn't really interested otherwise. Maybe time to invest in some new teapots, or reduce price based on the actual amount of tea the customer gets to drink?

Won’t be returning always given the seat near the door . Asked about other tables not reserved and given another table that was used to put cutlery on near the other door. Asked about another table and was told that was reserved but had no sign on? Why do you not value your solo dinners? So I won’t be returning with the family or friends.

Service and atmosphere are nice. You’ve to order and pay inside at the cashier. The foods were a bit disappointed as they were quite oily and pricey. Although the elder flower drink was surprisingly quite authentic!Vegetarian options: Both vegan and vegetarian optionsParking: The parking is located at the very back of the restaurant.

Love going to this place, a hidden gem situated right next to Bradgate park. One of our favourites places to visit and unwind. The breakfasts are amazing, still want to try what they have on offer for lunches and dinners.

Been here a few times now and they have an amazing selection on their menu from breakfast brunch or lunch etc. They also have amazing sausage rolls I really recommend those l. There is some parking around the back as well. I've only ever been for lunch or breakfast but have really enjoyed coming here over the years highly recommend.

Fabulous breakfast & service. Great menu, and selection of sweet treats, drinks/smoothies etc. Coffee’s were superb, super smooth. Ideal place for some grub and a cuppa after a stroll around Bradgate Park opposite. Absolutely recommend.

When entering the venue on Monday 4th April I was greeted by someone who quite frankly didn’t look like they wanted to be there. I was asked if i was there for just drinks I asked if food was okay and she said “hmmm well you better be quick” what kind of service is that! Anyway my partner orders the FOOD and time passes it gets up to an hour and I asked about the food, bare in mind there is only two tables myself included, the order had apparently not gone through into the kitchen. With both me and my partner working in a kitchen ourselves we understand things like this happen however if there was communication in the establishment this wouldn’t have happened. I had just asked for a refund as it seemed like the staff didn’t want to make the food in the first place, leaving me left hungry! Considering we come to this cafe every anniversary and birthday it has really threw me off and I no longer want to return. I really think the staff should be trained to communicate and cheer up when working in a nice venue! I had emailed my concerns and they replied back without an apology and brushing it off ?‍♀️ very poor customer service! No wonder every time previously I have been it has been empty.
