We ate her for a family birthday and on a recommendation. The restaurant was quiet for a Thursday but the mass of TV screens showing Bollywood style films kept the noise levels up ! The menu had a good selection of both Veg and Non-Veg dishes with a New Dishes page which is very unique for a Curry House. The service was very good and they kept checking back to make sure the food was as we expected and the right heat. The sizzlers were the highlight but the Methi Kemma was exceptional and would certainly recommend. For ref its Cobra on tap

The Egg Fried Rice was so yummy and I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person. Curry was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing.

Booked a table for my aunties birthday and not gonna lie, the food took me by suprise. The food was incredible. The haryali chicken was that good I ordered one for takeaway. The waiter, jezz, was helpful in foods to order and the quantity (especially with the number of people). Got back home and found they deliver to me so will be ordering my regular fix. Great choices recommended by jezz and all enjoyed his hospitality.

Vegetarian options: Paneer Shashlik and Garlic Chilli Mogo and Paneer Sizzler

I came to the restaurant without a booking and had to wait for about 10/15 minutes for a table which wasn’t a problem. The barman Jez was extremely helpful and gave me and my family some great banter and some better drinks. The garlic chilli prawns was recommended for the barman and they certainly hit the spot. Left the restaurant feeling full and enough for tomorrow’s dinner. Currently arranging my next meal with my friends to ensure we get a table on a SATURDAY!!! Big thanks to all the staff who were super attentive to all our needs.

Vegetarian options: Vegetable Manchurian and Paneer Tikka masala

Parking: Plenty of car parking on streets

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids enjoying their time.

Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled toilet on ground floor accessible to all.

Honestly so disappointed. All the chicken dishes that we ordered were very dry and hard seemed like they are just reheating old fried chicken and reheating it, the chicken did not seem like it was fresh at all. The service was also terrible the waiters seem like they have not been trained all all in customer service. If Google would allow negative stars I would give them negative 5 stars. ???

After recently moving to the area, I have been keen to see what Leicester’s Asian cuisine had to offer and Tiranga definitely exceeded my expectations. It was difficult to choose what to order as the menu had many inviting options, the vegetable manchurian had a tasty softness with a slight crisp which was delightful as it was my first time trying this, the mixed grill and king prawns for main was a choice I was very happy with.
The service was also top standard with reassurance if anything was needed to let them know, in particular the entertaining bar man Jezzon who helped the drinks flow for what was an amazing day evening.

I recently dined at Tiranga in Leicester, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The Paneer Shashlik was a standout, with perfectly grilled paneer and a tantalizing blend of spices that left us craving more. The Paneer Kadhai was rich and flavorful, with tender paneer chunks in a beautifully spiced gravy that was perfect with the naan. The Kofta was another highlight, featuring melt-in-your-mouth koftas in a creamy, aromatic sauce that was simply divine. The Chicken Kadhai was equally impressive, with succulent chicken pieces cooked to perfection in a robust, spicy sauce. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. Tiranga Leicester truly delivered a memorable dining experience, and we can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Very busy and entertaining night at the restaurant after celebrating the World Cup final! We had ordered a Mix Sizzler, Butter Chicken, Haryali Chicken and a Peshawari Naan! The flavours were the best we’ve ever tasted! Not been out for a curry for a long time and this certainly hit the spot and didn’t disappoint!! Will be back SOON! Ps. the Shahi Kulfi milkshake was to die forrrr

I few friends and I recently dined at Tiranga and, unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we sat down, the service and overall experience left much to be desired.

Firstly, we encountered an odd inconsistency with the availability of ice. When we requested ice for our drinks, we were told there was none available. This would have been understandable if we hadn't noticed other tables being served ice without issue. This inconsistency was just the beginning of our troubles.

The service throughout the meal was poor. Our server seemed more interested in clearing our table than attending to our needs. Despite multiple interruptions to ask if they could clear our plates, when we actually needed something, like additional drinks or the check, the staff were nowhere to be found. This gave us the impression that we were being rushed out, especially since the restaurant was busy with a crowd of people waiting, likely there to celebrate India's cricket victory.

The final straw was the aftermath of our meal. Not only did I experience a rather upset stomach later that night, but the bill also left a sour taste. After spending over £100, we were surprised to find an additional charge for takeaway containers for our leftovers. This seemed particularly stingy given the already steep bill.

Overall, my visit to Tiranga was disappointing. The inconsistent service, the feeling of being rushed, and the subsequent bellyache make it hard for me to recommend this restaurant. It's unlikely I'll be returning, and I hope future diners have a better experience.

This review is purely based on spending 10 minutes in the restaurant after which I walked out because of the stench

It wasn’t a busy day and I couldn’t believe the smell which had nothing to do with the food coming from the kitchen

I didn’t eat I didn’t drink. I simply left after 10 minutes so this review is based on the atmosphere solely.

Given the stench of the restaurant, I certainly would not recommend eating in here
