“Visited the Green Man for a meal and drinks mid- afternoon on a Thursday during ‘Fish Fest’. I had pre-ordered an Octopus as it wasn’t on the menu. Chef had asked how I would like it cooked and I gave her free rein to cook and present it as she wished.On serving it looked amazing, the whole octopus served above a dish with mussels and razor clams in a lovely tasting creamy sauce. It was all cooked to perfection and tasted spot on.My friends had Lobster & Swordfish which was again all cooked to perfection.Also with regard drinks there is always a changing choice of real ales plus lagers, Guinness etc and a very extensive selection of wines, gins, rums, vodkas, whiskies etc etc to take your pick from.All in all a great day out, friendly staff and friendly locals adding to the ambience of the place. Thanks to all!Would definitely recommend, give it a try you won’t be disappointed!”
