Very friendly and welcoming hostess, rooms were nice, decent shower and clean with plenty of tea, coffee, etc, even some nice shortbread. The only flaw was that there was not a double room, only twin, but I would still definitely book here again

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Boston, or just somewhere to stay as part of your journey then The Magnet Tavern is a must. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the hosts (Michelle and Neil) will make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are all clean and fresh on arrival and we all found the beds to be extremely comfortable. A fantastic, traditional place to stay with a good selection of drinks in the bar. This was our second stay at The Magnet Tavern, both visits were excellent and we will definitely be visiting again.

The Magnet is a beautiful tavern in the heart of Boston. The hosts are friendly and very helpful with a plethora of local knowledge. The pub is well maintained and has a very nice atmosphere. A good selection of drinks and used by nice local people. The room are well decorated, and, cleaned to a high standard. There is a good selection of tea and coffee in the room. The bed was comfortable with quality bedding.

The Magnet Tavern was a very nice place to stay, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the room was perfect for our needs with bath and shower, would highly recommend if visiting Boston. The was pub was situated perfectly for where we needed to be. The car park was perfectly situated.

A great place to rest up. Very hospitable owners. Parking is easy. The room was very clean and with very good facilities. The bar has a good range of alcohol and non alcoholic options. Definitely a place that I would stay again. They accommodate motorcycles safely as well.
