If I could give this zero stars I would . Came in here with a group (8 of us) who all bought drinks and myself was not drinking but driving. The bartender told me to come to the bar and have to buy a purchased drink. I do not drink fizzy drinks and only water. I asked for a water and he refused. First he told me it was the councils policy then told me it was the landlords policy. Find this very odd and would not be coming again.

Absolutely sucks. Poor door staff having to refuse entry to people based on what clothing their wearing and their sexuality. The medieval owners clearly want to go bust so let's let them! Don't go there, plenty of better places within a long drives distance.

Absolutely terrible , wouldn’t let a person with a mental Health disorder in with a cap on because he is losing his hair , and feels inferior for this , they were rude , and they put there hands on him , personal space , and mad out that he was wrong , do not go here , dreadful customer service and they do not care for people at all. Absolutely a disgrace. Plenty of other bars that will accommodate you: don’t waste your money on this establishment as it is socially racial , unless they want you to fit in , making a disabled person feel worse is abhorrent !

Do not go to this pub in times of hardship I would expect you need as many people in your pub as possible, not this place when it’s empty 2 near 60 year olds get refused entry because of there excuse that there are not enough glasses, never been refused entry to a pub in my life the place stinks keep well away

Lovely cosy pub. Very reasonable beer prices. Staff were very friendly. Came in to get out of the cold and it was lovely and warm.
