Best Fish and Chips around. I can not even finish a small fish and chip special. The batter is crispy not soggy or tastes of oil. The fish is thick and always cooked to perfection. The staff are so pleasant, Kirsty is still there serving their delicious food, she quickly gets to know her regulars. We usually have fish and chips once a week, my husband does all the cooking and most of the household chores as well as caring for me and holding down a full time job. So once a week he has the night off cooking duty . What is not to like? x Full five ⭐

Fish cake not mashed up properly,big lumps of potato couldn't taste much fix. Chips;; well hunt the chips among all the scrappy bits. Out of the huge portion of chips got a saucer full. They tasted awful looked like from day before. Will not use again.

Good when they're not busy.Far too slow on a Friday and Saturday night. Need to learn to anticipate customers and fry more.Left tonight after over 15mins waiting for a small chips because they wouldn't bump a small order up whilst they were waiting for fish for others. I don't understand why the 2 guys frying couldn't have just wrapped it up instead of just staring into the fryer.
Good food, good service. Had fish special, fish acceptable size for a special but wow too many chips.
