I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review for a restaurant in my life, but following the Indian I had last night from the AGRAH Cleethorpes, that had to change. It’s been years since I’ve been to what at least used to be considered the flagship Indian restaurant in the area. Not any more.My curry was made with bitter, unripened tomatoes. It lacked seasoning and spice, and had a mushy consistency without trace of any full bodied sauce you’d expect with any Rogan Josh. The garlic naan was dry, and the mushroom fried rice had an obnoxious peculiar taste throughout. I couldn’t eat more than a mouthful. And the service? Not much better than the food I’m afraid. I was given the wrong drink, then, when I managed to make them aware of their error I was ‘told’ I would have to accept a replacement because it had ‘already been put on’ even though I made clear I didn’t want it any longer as we’d already finished eating. After of the meal when the waiter asked if everything was alright with the food. Even though I was with company, I pointed out of the issue with the rice being completely unpalatable. He said he would pass my feedback on to the chef.He then presented a full unamended bill with no further comment. He did throw in an extra ‘After Eight’ mint though. Nice of him!Don’t waste your money.2/10

The food and service were fine. It was busy when visited and the staff seemed to cope fine. There was a party of five of us. We were shown to our reserved table and took our seats. The table is fit for 4 persons max. All the tables look be the same size so I would say either book two tables or book elsewhere. There wasn't any room to move once the dishes had arrived. This was a little stressful as you became very conscious of arm placement.

Really lovely place. It was the 1st time I'd been, but heard so many good things about it. The service was 2nd to none from the minute we walked in the door. The staff were really friendly & couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be returning.
