The food was delicious! We were a party of 5 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food did take a while to come, but as we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a huge issue for us.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Extremely poorly this morning after a curry last night. Tasted ok but I thought at the time it might have been a reheated dish. The restaurant (upstairs) was also freezing. Pity because last time we went before this was good.

This business is no longer in existence! We were taken to an upstairs room which I think was previously the private dining room. It is NOT the same menu. Our food was extremely under average. Apparently, the space downstairs is now being converted to a wine bar (told by guy who I think is the manager). Will not visit again. A massive shame as the previous restaurant was fantastic - but this one is NOT.

Very nice place to have meal with family, group of friends or take someone out. Place offers different types of Indians cuisines which taste amazing. Would recommend ordering multiple dishes if you are in group of people and sharing those between people. Place looked like it’s been shut (shutters are down) however what you need to to is go by alley by left hand side of shutters. I only provide 4 for food as Nan bread taste like been made from pancake batter but still are nice.

The WORST possible experience you could have at a restaurant. I am an Indian in England and this was the worst curry I have had in my life. We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, the poppadoms were dripping with oil and so were the okra fries. The food was disgusting and bland, but the worse part was the garlic naan. It was like it was made of motor oil, it tasted rotten. The manager was very very rude and honestly shouldn’t be allowed to manage a restaurant, and the waiter was extremely incompetent. 3 groups of people left after coming in and waiting in front of us, and one couple even stormed out because of the service. We still ended up paying £55 because the manager won’t listen and we didn’t want to be so rude. All of us felt sick 20 mins after eating some of the food. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend, go anywhere else but not here.

I think it's fair to say this is the worst curry I've ever had. The smell of feet and gone off milk was enough for our party to refuse the food. The food served did not feel safe for consumption. The service was horrendous, long waits and no input.

This food was absolutely awful. I still have bad acid reflux and feel sick. Going to report to environmental health and food safety as I believe something was really wrong with the food. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. After waiting over an hour and half, the food was absolutely appalling. The garlic naan in particular tasted bitter and gone off. We asked for the manager and he could not have been more rude, insisting the food was fine and giving us attitude. We all became ill after leaving the restaurant. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Had beautiful authentic meal cooked from scratch by very friendly chef. We both had the signature dishes freshly prepared. I had chicken stuffed with minced lamb hubby had murg chicken jalfrezi hit with fresh chillies and delicious nan bread. If you are in cleethorpes you must try this restaurant it's top notch

One of the worst Indian restaurant meals I've had.The food was bland. I appreciate I can handle spicy food BUT this was tasteless. There is a difference between spicy and hot, this was neither. The waiter was great, friendly and attentive but the food took over 45 mins to arrive despite the restaurant being empty apart from a table of two who had finished their meal and were leaving.I think the restaurant prioritized takeaway orders over customers who had bothered to turn up at the restaurant. The waiter did say they were short staffed as we left. This still does not excuse the quality of the food itself. Very disappointed.

The waiter should be awarded a medal! Not the worst food I have ever had but it's a close call!Dietary restrictions: Take absolutely no notice whatsoever! I am lucky that it's just the taste I can't stand rather than an allergy!

We had a fantastic meal at the Calcutta yesterday evening. The food was delicious...the best Indian I've had in many years. What really made our experience five star was the outstanding customer service. A huge thank you to the smiley friendly waiter who went above and beyond to make us and our additional needs child feel at home.We even had a tour of the kitchen! Which, by the way was Immaculately clean. Can't wait to come back ?Vegetarian options: Two veggies in our group and lots of choices.Kid-friendliness: Wow! Super friendly with our additional needs child.

My daughter in law took me and her dad just after Christmas never been before and had pre booked did not seem to make any difference. People who came in after us got drinks and menu before us eventually got served but the main meal came one and half hours later not impressed knocked some money off but very dissatisfied with the whole experience.
