I have previously been into this pub and found it lovely with very friendy staff, however yesterday was very disappointing, as a particular barmaid was very rude. She asked us to move(or should I say ordered us to move) because we were standing close to where they bring out the food.We did move immediately and then was asked to move again...we didn't mind moving but she told us in a very impolite manner with no 'please' in her vocabulary. She was an older member of staff and should know better.People like her should not be allowed to do that job.

We had a birthday lunch here, party included a toddler which didnt faze staff at all. Food was delicious, took a while to arrive but well worth the wait, staff were excellent and our toddler was given a treat for being 'best customer' even though split juice on the plush...sorry guys if it caused issue for nxt guests (we did own up) Will def come again, 5☆ Fishermans ?

The Fishermans Arms has terrific food and fabulous quick service. The menu is very versatile and the food is incredibly filling. The restaurant itself has multiple tv's - that often play football - and the staff are quite friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend the Fishermans Arms.

If I could give more stars if I could. There were 8 of us and every meal was wonderful. It was tasty well presented AND hot. The services was friendly . The only downside was the room was cold, due to the aweful weather and the fact that there were two entrances constantly opening and closing although the heat was on.\\nA place to go back to time and again x

Food great and price reasonable. Dog friendly but only allowed in one section of the pub. Booked a table and when we arrived landlady appeared a little abrupt when she told us we couldn't sit at the table that had been reserved for us as we had a dog. Luckily there was one space free in the dog area and after that staff where pleasant. Would definately recommend and would visit again when we are back in the area.

One of the very best meals we have ever had. All food was flawless, massive portions and excellent staff with a rustic setting. My chicken tacos with sweet potato fries was absolutely beautiful. Cooked to perfection. Seriously good food. Cannot wait to return. Well done everyone.

We went here for a birthday celebration and all our meals was absolutely lovely. Not 1 fault. All homemade and delicious. All the meals was hot and came out together as there was 10 of us in total. Will definitely be going here again.

3/02/18 Staff and atmosphere was good as usual but the food has changed for the worst. Had my usual burger, with there home made Onion RIngs, the onion rings used to be delicious and one of the best in town! -not any more cheap shop bought rubbish, the burger was nice but the lettuce/ tomato etc was minimal.

Tasty meal at a fair price. The beer selection was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly and professional. I would definitely visit again.

Not been since it was Dexters. Was going to have a meal but didn't like the menu. The burgers we're in brioche buns, and when we asked if they could do them in baps instead( as it clearly advertised fish finger baps on the menu, was told no! Must say though, the staff were lovely.
