Good service in the locals side of the bar, the larger room gets less attention to detail. Prices are reasonable. The toilets are adequate in most areas. The atmosphere is pleasant the times we have been in Cleg. It's worth a visit. Parking outside is free, and car parks paid are numerous. Close to all restaurantsIt is a good place that could become great .

I visited the Market Tavern 2/8/23 for a couple of pints of Landlord, I was served by Katie who was very obliging towards me nothing was to much trouble and made me very welcome 10/10 service 10/10 cleanliness and 9/10 for value for money. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends and family.

Busy bar. Lager was cold. Only negative we were sat by the door and someone was smoking in the doorway with smoke blowing back in our faces.....ugh!
Lively sports bar with a great atmosphere. Staff super friendly and very accommodating. Inadvertently brought food in but soon sorted it out. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants good beer and sports on TV.
