Visited with a friend last night. We are both a little fussy about how food is cooked and presented. We were not disappointed in any way. Food amazing, service, fabulous. Staff lovely, very respectful yet friendly. Cannot fault in any way . Will definitely be returning

Sunday lunch not perfect!! I had the chicken dinner was lovely although to much red cabbage! Hubbie had the beef was as tough as old boots! Just could not cut through it!! The phone constantly rang and staff never answered so went into being recorded got on your nerves to be honest keep hearing the answer phone kicking in! Service was slow, staff unsure names of the drinks they were serving? Some training issues need addressing! We will not be rushing back sadly!

Tiny portion of onion tart served with a bit of rocket garnish for the main. I asked if I was waiting for a side dish and the waitress said it doesn’t come with anything, potatoes are extra. Friend ordered chicken, portion was better and came with potatoes but she left most of it as chicken was tough. Overpriced and we left hungry. I called for chips on way home!

Terrible food and service. Steak was cold and Parmesan chips could only describe as unrecognisable overcooked scraps. On the other end of the spectrum my 11 year son burnt his mouth on the fish pie that was scalding hot. I was extremely disappointed the price is over inflated for the quality of the food and service. Drinks didn’t arrive on time for a birthday toast. One meal ordered and wrong when arrived no manager came to speak with us & left to the inexperienced staff to deal with. Totally ruined what should have been a lovely family meal for my 50th. Also bill was wrong (totalling £500+) had not taken off the deposit. A family member delivered the cake 2 hours beforehand (cream cake) it still in the same place 3 hours later ..dumped on the side to get warm and dried out! I Would not recommend this place!!! and will be taking my custom elsewhere in the future.

What a really pleasant meal, quality of the food was excellent. In my opinion well worth the money. Staff spot on.

I visited with my Mum as part of her 80th Birthday celebration it was lovely and busy, which gave it a great comfortable ambience. We had booked and had a lovely corner spot perfect for people watching. We had the afternoon tea for two and it was beautiful cannot recommend enough. Staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble even taking our photo snd sending it to me as we had both forgot our phones!. We will definitely be back again.

Been here a few times now with my partner. First time for valentine's day and a couple of times for breakfast. This really is a great place to go for food. Never been disappointed and prices are great for the quality you get. This has become one of our favourite places.

Booked online and it never mentioned that we only had the table for two hours!! Meal was nice, very overpriced, especially the desserts! Waitress was pleasant, service was good ish! After finishing the desserts a waiter came over, after being at the table for 1hr 40mins, to say 'we need the table in 10, no 5 mins' quite abruptly, no offer of coffee, in otherwords we want you off the table! We didnt even have to ask for the bill it was presented to us as soon as desserts finished! My annoyance is, we went out to celebrate a birthday, spent nearly £250 between 6 of us in what we were to think was a decent restaurant but have spent longer in a cafe with coffee and cake, never asked to leave my table! Will never return and would definitely not recommend.

Whilst some meals were okay some including myne wasn't very good. Services little slow need to be a but more quick it's not a office job

Service was terrible! Waiting over an hour for food & only offered one tepid coffee & tea upon arrival. Shameful asking for £25 per person for basically a quarter of a sandwich & quiche! Worst afternoon tea I’ve ever had & would definitely not recommend. Mother’s Day ruined!

I’ve always liked Petit Delight but I was a bit disappointed today when we visited for lunch. My daughter ordered the burger and fries and considering it was £15 it was small. I ordered a sandwich with some sweet potato fries; both were nice enough and seemed more reasonably priced. The waitress was lovely but there was only her working and as there were 7 tables of customers the service was slow.

Had a leaving do here. One person had tissue in her mussels and was offered a free drink no offer to replace the food. One had to send her steak back as she ordered it well done . It practically had a pulse. The room was well out of the way and had no atmosphere at all. We have booked other group meals here before and the food has been lovely and the service excellent but I don't think I would bother again. Such a pity as good places to eat are becoming rare and this did used to be one of the best. I know we are in an inflation crisis but £7.50 for a glass of wine was shocking. Also don't get caught out with buying a spirit as the mixers are charged separately at £3 for a small bottle of coke!
