Superb! Fabulous meals and service for our Christmas do. The food was lovely, and portions generous - many of us couldn’t finish. I had the vegan option, and didn’t miss out on festive fayre – I enjoyed a ‘traditional’ Christmas meal with a nut roast – rich, savoury, lovely textures – and all the trimmings, with a vegan gravy. Becky ensured there was even vegan cream for dessert too. It was a large and lively party, and the team were spot on checking everyone was happy, and with happy bellies! Highly recommended.

Great as a pub but dinner shocking. £20 for a lamb dinner with tiny piece of lamb. Plates came out cold. Questionably frozen roast potatoes. When complained chef came out with a vile attitude like she took it personally. Felt like being in an episode of Gordon Ramsays kitchen nightmares. Other diner said beef was tasteless and cheap and veg cold and other guests didn't have nice things to say. Zero atmosphere in the dining room with no background music. Meal ended in a row with chef in front of other guests, who agreed with us. Nice view of Alexandra Road. Stick to pouring pints, for a proper Sunday dinner go round the corner to the fish.

My family and I had gammon Sunday lunches, I was lucky enough to get it to collect and takeaway due to being unwell. The gammon just melted in your mouth. The gravy was to die for. Roast potatoes were Herby and garlicy, they were beautiful ..Proper homemade roast dinner. It was lovely thank you.
