The scratching post is a modern style bar in a very popular area with two other pubs almost next door. With a wide variety of beers, lagers, and cider. Sadly, there are no cask conditioned real ales. The staff are nice and friendly. There are TV screens and an outside seating area.Parking: There is a paid car park very close by also some time limited street parking very close. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, there is some free street parking further away.Wheelchair accessibility: There are a lot of steep steps up to the bar. Not good for wheelchairs. But the bar is all on one level.
