Toven's Cafe is a good small family run and family friendly cafe on St. Peter's Avenue in Cleethorpes.Its a decent no frills restaurant, that has friendly owners and appears to have a strong local clientele. It's not fine dining here but the food on offer is good and very reasonably priced,which you can eat in,takeaway or have it delivered,they accept telephone orders or you can order online.The menu includes everything from breakfasts, light bites to a selection of hot meals,which include roast dinners and pies,they also have a children's menu.It has a fairly modern look with a basic table and chair layout.Table service is provided and it has it's own restroom which along with its entrance and table arrangement are wheelchair friendly,there's also a couple of tables outside during the warmer months. There's parking available on the adjacent side street and a pay and display car park on the High street. This cafe accepts card payments, it is also a dog friendly place ? and opens 7 days a week.It has a 5***** food hygiene rating.Food review April 2019.I opted for a roast pork dinner and a mug of tea, the choice of meat and vegetables were limited as I had arrived after a busy lunchtime rush.Never the less a good plate of food arrived after a short wait,comprising of a good selection of both fresh and frozen vegetables,some freshly made stuffing and a homemade Yorkshire pudding. The pork was nicely roasted and decent quality. Not a bad meal at all and very well priced at £7.05 for both the meal and the drink.Food review December 2023.Had lunch here again today, I opted for a Turkey dinner and a tea, a good sized plate of food arrived after a short wait, a good selection of vegetables,mashed potatoes, carrots, peas,cabbage, brussel sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and lots of turkey,very nice and well priced at between £8 and £9 for my meal and tea. ? They have started serving for in the evening's on certain days of the week but I'm not clear on which particular days or the times so best contact them directly.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available.Parking: Parking can be difficult to find at busy periodsKid-friendliness: Child friendly, baby changing facilities and kids sized meals available.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair access and reasonably facilities.

Spot on bacon bap, good honest food. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Coffee hot and decent, if you want decent food with no frills, this cafe is well worth trying.

Had a tuna melt - tuna was stone cold and cheese had clearly come straight out of a packet. Staff was friendly, food wasn't.

Dont order a delivery from here food was cold .Fried bread was horrible end bits of the loaf never known a cafe to serve them without asking first, buns were soggy with the bacon cold inside wont be ordering again.

Basic, no frills cafe with good honest food at reasonable prices. 2 full breakfasts with tea came to £16. Eggs done just how I asked for them and not too salty bacon. Dogs welcome and even given a free sausage, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
First time visiting after being a regular visitor to Cleethorpes, staff are lovely and very happy to help, dog friendly which is a plus only think I'd change is doggy breakfast option food was red hot and very tasty 10/10 will be coming againKid-friendliness: Toys available for kids to play with

Went here ordered 2 breakfasts with cups of tea , tea was like dish water , the breakfast wasn't good at all over cooked deep fried sausage, hard egg , cold beans , bacon under cooked , we left all of it even the toast was horrible, will not go there again , avoid at all cost !!!
