Pubs in Conningsby

“Small pub, staff friendly, very quiet to the point we were whispering for the first 20mins and trying to keep the children silent. Obviously not the places fault, but in general it had that quiet atmosphere when we visited. The chicken and blue cheese sauce was gorgeous, but the chips weren't the best. That could have been due to us visiting quite late (6:30) in the day for this little place. The crab cakes were disappointing, they were 3x preprepared/bought in small type fritters with a little salad.Kid-friendliness: A high chair was found for our baby and wiped down for us before we used it.Wheelchair accessibility: Quaint character property with little level changes which may be a challenge. The carpark is gravel”

“Food was well above expectations and the best steak I've ever seen. When we first walked in we could smell a strong smell of urine from the toilets which was off putting and i think the cleanliness of the glasses could be improved.”

“Beautiful meal. Exceptional service. I've lived not far away from the Leagate all my life, but it's the first time I've been. It's a beautiful old English pub and you won't be disappointed.”
