After visiting ASK Lincoln for my son’s birthday last night I can not recommend the service enough ! Everyone went above and beyond for us all and put the biggest smile on my children’s faces with the effort they went to make there night ! We only finished the food because we were very hungry.The pizza looked and tasted like a supermarket frozen one and the risotto with nduja and prawns only tasted of pepper.

I LOVE ASK Italian. One of my favourite places to eat out.I was served by a waiter named Will, who had the best customer service ever. He was polite, kind and he really lit up the entire place. As I was enjoying my meal (the Caprina Pizza is to die for by the way), I could see how even more engaging he was with other customers, as well as being efficient in making sure the tables were cleaned and cleared. He really is a credit to ASK Italian. ??

The food was lovely, but the pepperoni on my pizza was a bit burnt. The waiter was lovely and made the meal one to remember! Overall it was a fabulous experience and I will be coming back in the near future.Vegetarian options: My mum is veggie and rather enjoyed her dish.

Right on Brayford Pool in Lincoln this restaurant is well located and easy to find. The decor doesn't shout Italian restaurant but the food and service really did. Had two starters, butterfly king prawns and a small calamari. Both were excellent. Then the new Gnocchi Arrabiatta and also the new Calzone Mushroom and Truffle. The gnocchi was full of flavour and as the name suggests had a good hot kick. The Calzone was delicious. Dessert was the sticky toffee coffee pudding which was intensely delicious and the chocolate brownie lasagne which was richly chocolatey and smooth. Followed by excellent cappuccinos. The restaurant was well decorated for Christmas and tables spaced well for privacy. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and made the whole experience very special. We were served by Jamie and Freddie.

Jamie at Lincoln brayford Ask did an amazing job of putting up with my dad who is the most awkward customer on the entire planet. Jamie had a cheerful smile throughout and was very attentive. Food was also excellent, thanks for a lovely evening!

Walked in with my daughter. Stood at the welcome desk... and waited... and waited... watched one server walk past us a couple of times... no acknowledgement... no hello... then he went to the bar... and started talking to the bar server. After being stood there for a few minutes.. I gave it 30 more seconds... and walked out. Absolutely shocked at being ignored.. despite the place being pretty empty. A few filthy tables with empties on... didn't look all that welcoming... so maybe short staffed. But the server ignoring us... shame in you.Went near by to a Brazilian restaurant... still got a pizza... which beat Ask pizzas I've had in the past. Service amazing. Attentive from the second we walked in. Spent loads there.. which should have been in Ask's pocket! It would take a lot for me to try Ask again.

Husband, kids and I popped in for a quick bite to eat this afternoon after a busy morning. The food came out so quickly and atmosphere was lovely but what really stood out was the service. Our server Jamie was so friendly, polite and professional, it really boosted our spirits. Will definitely be coming back again for a delicious lunch when we are next in the area! Very slow service, and very poor lighting (had to use phone torch to read the menu).Separate GF menu, which was good, although significantly shorter.Slow to take the order and slow to deliver the drinks.Food was OK, but hard to see what you were eating!
