Great food, great service, great prices and so nice to go to an individual place for a change rather than the carbon copies you get in the high street.

It’s in the Main st not well displayed outside you can easily miss it! You maybe little shocked entering because it is old fashioned! Saying that every time we have gone we have left truly satisfied and always give It the thumbs up the food is fantastic!!! Not too be missed!!

The chef Victor provided great values of food and services. We liked their dishes at all. Please book your table in advanced. Highly recommended to everyone.

What a gem of a find, run single handedly by Victor who's got a long history of great food. Very welcoming and incredibly reasonable on price, where else can you get 3 courses, cooked by an award winning chef for £20?

The restaurant is hard to notice. A door on the high street that can be easily missed. A steep staircase takes you up to the restaurant which, when you see it is amazing!! An extensive menu with a lot of choice. Lovely home cooked food by a trained chef. The food was delicious and a lot of it. It does take a little time as the food is freshly cooked for you and then served Silver service by the owner and chef who is a delight. It was quiet in the restaurant, which is a pity as people are missing a treat. Very, very reasonable price. A 3 course meal with coffee or tea is cheaper than a burger in some restaurant chains. It really does make a change to have delicious home made food, and not the usual greasy burger rubbish you mostly get nowadays. Stairs are a bit steep upto the loo.

A totally unique experience from the “hidden” entrance on the street to the 1980s’ prices. Yes, the decor is not to everyone’s taste (I’ve read some unkind reviews) but no-ones’s going to be there for more than a couple of hours. Focus on the food! Victor purchases (very locally) the ingredients, prepares, cooks and serves everything on his own (and spends Sunday washing and ironing the linen!) Every course we ate was freshly prepared and delicious. After the meal, Victor left the kitchen and chatted to us and the other guests. (Those reviewers who complain about an “empty” restaurant fail to say Victor never takes more than 8 covers per evening). The prices have to be seen to be believed. Go with an open mind and just enjoy the unique experience!

This is an Asian-hate restaurant, especially the owner who shouted at us and made explicitly inappropriate jokes about our country. Never come again

The staff is a racist and very rude!??He doesn’t allow customers to use phones when waiting for the meal and yelled at me and my friends because we didn’t find the bell?. He even judged customers’ English if they are not native English speakers. Absolutely a racist.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. We loved the whole unique homely experience from start to finish. The service was great and the food was of a very high standard, compliments to the chef! We will definitely be going again and can highly recommend it.

Had a late lunch with my partner. The food was excellent and good value for money with the main course served at table all fresh ingredients and full of flavour. Hope to return next time in Lincoln.

My granddaughter and I have had the most delious meal today at Crusts im lincoln. Not only was it well cooked , silver service , great value we were delighted to meet the owner Victor a gentleman of the old school. First time I have seen my granddaughter eat everything on her plate, including vegetables I would recommend Crusts and Victor to anyone. Do go you will be amazed

Really, a lovely traditional restaurant. Excellent value, and down to earth food. Everything made fresh, not pre-prepared. The chef has over 40 years experience running the restaurant. As long as you don't expect nouvelle cuisine, you won't be disappointed. Strongly recommended.

Amazing cooking, truly incredible food. Great knowledge of the menu and the wines they offer. I would definitely recommend and I'll be back again soon.
