“Had a fabulous meal on Saturday tea time, beautiful Haddock, chips (cooked in beef dripping) & Mushy peas...probably the best fish & chips I've eaten. Lovely friendly restaurant, with great staff. Highly recommend.”

“Fantastic chippy, I ordered the salt and pepper chips, was probably the best one I've had, not sure what the traditional fish and chips are like but the Chinese side of the menu is great, the pancake roll was huge and rhe Chinese curry sauce is so much better than normal chip shop curry. Definitely will be returning”

“Good food well cooked but wasn't happy to be charged an extra £5 for sitting in the restaurant part of the chip shop. I've never heard of this before. Normally customers would just be charge more for thier food but they charged more for the food and added the extra £5. So won't be using there restraint again.”

Parking: Not much parking available. You can park on the co op opposite but will have to buy something from there to park.”

“Always and I mean always a friendly welcome. In the heart of the community, you can see why this place is so popular with affordable and quality products on offer. The staff are familiar with all customers and it gives a great feeling walking in and feeling welcome. I've ate here for years and years and wouldn't change my choice of chippy for anything.
Highly recommend”
