This subway is quite good. We have visited a few times and it's always good food and nice staff. Plenty of options to choose from.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians and Vegans can eat at subway. There are a few options including fake-steak and a plant based patty, which I enjoy. However, they are usually on the higher price end for ingredients.

I ordered a plant based salad from Subway (Wragby Road) Lincoln on Friday 16th June on the subway app. I got home to eat my lunch and half way through eating realised there had been a huge error and I had been served real steak. I have not eaten meat for over 20 years.Beyond upset and disgusted, I emailed subway generic email address and the following day the franchise “manager” Matt replied, asking for receipt proof of order. No apology. I suggested this could have been so much more serious if it had been an allergy consequence. He asked for my number to ring to discuss. No phone call ever received. No answer to further emails. No acknowledgment of error. No apology!!I asked about perhaps staff being reminded of protocols, checking basics like a receipt order, stressing this could have been really serious and they need to get this stuff right. No replies again.Such a lack of customer care. Franchise owner seemingly doesn’t bother with the basics of courtesy and replying to complaints. I don’t want a freebie or compensation but an admittance and simple apology is the least one assumes subway would be able to manage! Ignoring all emails and communication.Who knows what else they aren’t checking and getting right?!If this was a dairy allergy, nut allergy etc this could have killed someone. This “just” being my lifestyle choice is not good enough that Subway have not dealt with the matter at all.Vegetarian options: Massive failure!Dietary restrictions: Served meat with a plant based meal!
