Decent take away, the busy shop front showed its popularity. Good value in the set menus.

First time I'd ever been in there, and will definitely go again. Wasn't sure how they wanted me to order, the name or the number of the dish, and was told either was ok, so that was good. Once ordered the man double checked what I had ordered to make sure before taking it through to the kitchen. Only took about 10 minutes and I sat and waited, there's 3 or 4 chairs as there's not much room, pictures of some of the dishes available, and lots of money tree plants. Nothing special but clean and tidy, could do with updating but we all know that costs money. Got a free bag of prawn crackers with the food we ordered. The dishes were piping hot and cooked through, tasted good and was happy with it all.

Went here because our usual Chinese wasn't open. The salt and pepper chicken dish was mainly onions, I was shocked to be honest. The small amount of chicken was so dry and chewy, like it had been reheated (luckily there weren't much of it!) The chow mein was ok and a good portion. I won't be returning, I'd rather go without. I don't really leave reviews but this was possibly up there with one of the worst salt and pepper chicken I've ever had.

Finally found a great Chinese takeaway. The Hot & sour soup was one of the best I've ever had, sweet and sour chicken balls not doughy they were lovely, chicken chow mein excellent and chicken black bean sauce lovely will definitely go back.
There are two Chinese takeaways close together in Long Sutton but this one was recommended to me by one of the locals during our week long stay. The food was excellent, tasty and good value. Be aware though, when I called, it is a cash only establishment and they don't take card payments.

Used this takeaway a few times, on all occasions ordered meat pancake rolls. I can assure you that there was the equivalent of hardly under a teaspoon of Chinese roast pork. When you get them they are huge but the pancake roll contents is 99.9 percent beansprouts. As I said the quality and taste is really good but I am a Chinese food lover and all of the pancake rolls I have had before contain chicken, prawns, roast pork to which on all previous visits all of the pancake rolls held the same amount of meat contents. Also I do like chicken fried rice and have ordered that also on every visit and they are large containers to which the contents is made up of 99.9 percent rice and the rest chicken. Always the rice is cooked to perfection hence no real chicken content. They have also put up their prices considerably but the meat content stays the same. My wife tried to talk to the owners regarding this and what do you believe they suddenly have a real problem trying to converse or understand English-. So all I can say to end this review is if you are vegetarian this certainly is the place to go to. I just feel very upset when you are paying good money for food which is not upto expectations if you are a meat lover.
