Met a friend for a drink, cosy pub ,good location from river and walks, short walk to busy town with a plethora of shops, pedestrian streetPub can be a bit noisy, but it's a country pub, people enjoying themselves, rail station close by , good parking free from 18.00 but very cheap during the day , cinema and sports center very near by, and good link road to A12 . Parks also close at hand

Enjoyed a very nice lunch with new friends. All mains were good but sadly 1 of the sponge deserts had a dark hair cooked into it. They did apologise and replaced it with a fresh cooked one and charged half price for her desert.

Decent sized portions of food but service was incredibly slow. Table was sticky too, however, the waitresses were very nice. A bit of a mixed bag!

Located on the main road with a car park at the back. A nice pub/restaurant.Service was great even though it was quite busy on a Friday night. Menu is quite varied & reasonably priced for a weekday/Saturday, Sunday is a carvery. Enjoyed the meal, very tasty with large portions. Didn't have dessert belly was too full

We stayed in room 16 across the road from the actual pub. It was pretty run down and mucky in places the pillows were extremely wafer thin and cheap the blinds were mucky so was the windows and the bathroom was worn down.On the plus side, the breakfast ? and the service were outstanding ?

Have lived in Sutton Bridge for 2 and a half years and visited The Anchor for the first time today. Blown away by the ambience, service and quality of food. A class restaurant and pleasant surprise.
