Excellent food cooked to order, so dishes come out when ready. We could not finish ours, but it was delicious. Each plate priced between 4 to 9 pounds, expect to order 3 per person.

We went to Bar Castillejar for the first time on Christmas Eve and had a lovely time! The food, wine, music and service were all just great! There were 3 of us and we had 8 dishes which was plenty. We enjoyed all 8 except for one which unfortunately was bland so disappointing. The ladies that served us were so friendly and were happy to make recommendations. Will definitely go again and would recommend the restaurant.

Superb Tapas restaurant. A good range of Tapas dishes that changes frequently, all of which tried were delicious. White wine that didn't taste like rotting vinegar, which was a first for me. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and great music. Only thing I would change: add Canción Del Mariachi by Los Lobos to the playlist. It's Mexican, not Spanish, so probably not fitting though. Well worth a visit for delicious Spanish food.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit last evening Wednesday 23nd October. Easily booked a table for 4 a few weeks back at the time we wanted. On arrival our table was ready and we were seated straight away.\\nPrompt attention from the ladies front of house, drinks arrived and our order was taken after looking at the extensive menu which was easy to understand.\\nAll food arrived quickly and was nice and hot and very tasty. Puddings ordered which were lovely and finished the evening off nicely.\\nEasily finished eating within the 2hr slot and reasonably priced.\\nWould recommend a visit if you like Tapas??

Fantastic setting and atmosphere which is only improved the minute the food hits the tabel. Amazing from start to finish. The manager makes you feel like its her restaurant and all the staff their make you feel settled, relaxed and welcomed. Cannot wait to go back! Feel free to practise your Spanish too!
