Great meal and chat with owner, who is very proud of what he does. Ordered a takeaway service was quick and food was as promised excellent.

Deedar is great! Fresh food. I've seen my food being cooked in the kitchen by the chef. It is bang on and the taste is second to none! Always highly recommended!

What an absolutely fabulous find in Louth, the front an Indian takeaway but behind a little hidden gem of a restaurant. We had a sizzling mixed starter with onion bhaji, samosa and chicken tikka and fried onions (salad and mint yogurt) this was delicious! Followed by an amazing chicken Parthia, pilau rice and proper authentic Naan bread. Fabulous food, fantastic friendly staff and a really great atmosphere. We have tried all the rest but this is by far the best. Can’t wait to visit again 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite frankly the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten. No flavour to any of the dishes, sauces had a weird consistency, food was nearly cold by the time it got to us and I imagine it had been reheated. Don’t waste your time and order from somewhere else, Louth has much better Indian food on offer.

Chicken korma was good, the person that had the Nawabi said it was nice but….. the Tandoori mixed grill was absolutely awful ?. Even after sorting out the fact that the menu states on the bone was actually an error. It was on the dry dish menu and what I got was swimming in fat and greasy onions only 2 chunks of lamb , small kebab and flavourless chicken, vegetable curry was soup with green beans and a potato. Lost our custom after many years , for the cost I expected better.

This review only has 4 stars because of customer service now I don’t want to judge the food to be fair, we are not local and come from a distance so I’m not sure if the quality was usual or not. The chips were dry and the curry was like soup very bland. (Some may like this) the tikka had no flavour, again I can only go on what we were delivered. Staff very nice and polite and very helpful

Lovely lady who took my order . But the food looks totally amazing. But doesn't have one iota of flavour or taste . What a shame . Won't go back . Tasteless. ?♀️

Found this place while holidaying , the owner Sha was very friendly and able to alter dishes to our requirements for my veggie daughter without any problems, good food and generous portion sizes , very busy when we called with lots of returning customers, I can see why reasonable prices as well
Lovely staff. Speedy service and great foodVegetarian options: Staff are willing to deal with any requestsDietary restrictions: Staff will work with any restrictions where possible

Good customer service. Fast delivery for takeaway order. Quality of the food was terrible. Considering it has authentic in the name the result was very disappointing. Locals have also recommended this restaurant, and I’m in disbelief really that this is as good as Louth gets. I tried ordering from Deedar after 4 years thinking maybe they’ve improved somewhat after all the reviews from friends. I was wrong. Sauces are bland, vegetarian dishes cooked terribly and again bland. Nothing near to a proper Indian takeaway experience from cities that seem to have the formula right. Complete waste of money. Louth just doesn’t seem to have the want or need for a decent Indian restaurant. Tried it, hated it, won’t do it again.
