Been a while since we were here, really changed for the better. Really enjoyed the hobgoblin on tap.Food was really good,had fish and chips.Fish was really good quality and fresh,maybe a bit too much batter for my liking. However really enjoyed its white flakes and it was nice and big.The vegan options I was told were really good and tasty. Will be back,when the its warmer and take advantage of the great outdoors space.

Went to watch the opening 6 Nations match. Great for watching sport here and whilst I didn't eat, the pizzas coming out of the kitchen looked

Amazing from start to finish! We were met by Cherise and taken to our table in the private dining area - a lovely surprise! Nothing was too much trouble for her and the fantastic team of ladies who waited on us for the evening. We ate from the Christmas menu, which was plentiful and delicious, all arriving hot and at the same time. Yummy cocktails in the bar downstairs afterwards too! Thank you to everyone who was involved in our evening, we had a great time and are already planning for next year!

Great food well priced. Visited twice on holiday and the food we had on both occasions was excellently cooked. Everything cooked from fresh so slight delay but well worth it. Chefs special highly recommended. Will be back when in the

Beware the step "UP" in the dimly-lit lounge, just before the bar. There are wee lights around it but no caution marking. We didn't stay to eat because my friend's foot was injured. The menu looked lovely.
