Stayed there last night after a wedding, let us check in early and leave our luggage, very friendly staff and helpful. Best shower we have ever had in a hotel too and we have stayed in a lot. Comfy bed , lovely breakfast in lovely clean surroundings. Will definitely recommend this hotel .Thank you for making us welcome.

We stayed at the Masons Arms with an American friend. We were there 3 weeks ago and had to take her there. The ambiance, building and amazing staff made it once against a magical relaxing experience. The food is local and lovely, the beer is St Austal so great ??Rooms: Just lovely and the beds are so comfortable.Walkability: Beach is an easy walk ?Food & drinks: Amazing

A funny one this, the place itself is extremely nice, superb quality decorations, immaculate toilets and really nice staff. We had the traditional Sunday lunch, which was average. But with all it's splendor, the place has crazy opening times, so you can never go for a late lunch or an evening meal, forget about popping in for a drink at night, even early doors, as you will find it closed, its a shame.

A bit of a wait but the food was fab and you get a lot on your plate! It all tasted really freshly cooked and the flavours were spot on... If you are a small eater, I won't dare you to finish it all - but be warned!Atmosphere is good and so are the desserts (oh... and the waiters ?)A good choice of various meals suitable for both meat eaters and vegetarians.Highly recommend.

The mason arms is a great hotel.I stay in alot of hotel's due to work and this is one of the better ones. Being a non chain the room's are stylish and characterful at the same time.I had an old fire place in my room!Bed super comfyNespresso coffee machine!Excellent shower, very powerful, could have stayed in there for hours.A minor negative, no onsite parking, however a few council car parks within a 5min walk and hotel can issue free parking. If you have a lot of luggage you could drive to front of hotel, off load and then park up I guess.A slightly bigger negative, the bar and restaurant closed at 5pm (a little strange for a hotel), but Louth has loads of great bars and restaurants so enjoyed a stroll around in the evening. Also breakfast doesn't start till 8, so not great if you need to be gone prior to.7 would be a better time to start. If on a holiday none of that would be an issueStill wouldn't put me off staying again!

Excellent bed, shower and great central position. Breakfast excellent too. Had a really good Sunday lunch.Staff pleasant and helpful.Very nice public rooms and event places. It would be nice to try and serve food and drink later.....as 1500hours and 1700 hours at weekend. Sure it would be popular in evening

Used lots before COVID, after reopening after COVID used a few times, all 3 occasions service has been painfully slow, long waits with not many people sat down.
