Great base for exploring on our first visit to The Lincolnshire Wolds, we stayed in our campervan with our dog, fabulous sized pitches, very peaceful with ever so friendly staff and other campers. Lovely walks from the site too. We ate in the pub which was absolutely lovely, made to feel very welcome. The two newer shower rooms with their own wash hand basin and loo, attached to the pub, were much better than the old one’s nearer the camping area, these really could do with an upgrade but fine for a wee, sure the owners know this as they seem to be spending a lot of money on the site in general, would definitely return soon ???

We have stayed at Denise and Ians place a number of times and have never been disappointed. We always stay in the lodge pods. Fully equipped spotless accommodation, peaceful surroundings and absolutely wonderful owners and staff. We dined in the pub one of our nights. I had the lamb and my husband had the steak, very highly recommended! If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing break and the opportunity to sample some top notch food this is definitely the place for you! Hope to be back very soon. Thank you ?

What a lovely little pub! Out on a Wolds walk, and stopped for refreshments. Pleasantly surprised to find this great little place also offers glamping pods and pitches. Super ?

Beautiful little site. Friendly and well maintained. Also the pub is very family friendly and served excellent food. Shower block/Toilets all kept clean throughout. Staff all brilliant and very friendly.

Upon arrival we were given a friendly welcome by the owner. Could probably do with more toilets and showers (and also looking dated) given the number of adults and children who were there. Very peaceful overnight. My biggest annoyance and the reason that I wouldn’t go back is that we had to pay £3 a night for our dog who didn’t even leave our van.

Great pint and atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon

Our food, once it arrived, was good but the chef was overwhelmed with orders on the lunchtime we went so we had a long wait.

It's our visit here and we really enjoyed our stay. The campsite is small, with around 22 pitches and its quite snug. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pub has a great selection of food and drinks. The pub gets very busy so you have to book in advance if you want food and they deliver food to your tent which is nice. The food is pretty tasty, can't really fault it. They only moan we would have is that the facilities I.e shower and toilet block aren't the nicest. They are a bit dated and worn and you only have 4 in total for 22 pitches. WiFi is non existent near the camp site but there is some signal in the pub. It was quite nice to shut out the Internet for a few days. Thanks three horse shoes for a relaxing weekend.

We had a lovely time staying in the super cute Shepherds Hut at the weekend. The place was lovely and clean, the food in the pub was great and we all had a magical time. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a fantastic stay :-)

Just got back from a lovely 2 night camping stay here. The staff are all so friendly and the food is incredible! They even make their own ice cream which was Devine! Drinks in the bar are a tad expensive but don’t let that put you off. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back again sometime.

What a gem of a campsite! We've stayed here a few times & never been disappointed. Whether you are visiting Cadwell Park for an event or just want some rest, relaxation, countryside walking this is a great location. The pitches on the campsite are spacious, toilets/showers clean & all staff very friendly. The bar/restaurant on site is an added bonus. We would highly recommend The Three Horseshoes.

Spent a lovely family reunion here and used glamping, hardstanding and grass pitch. Owner very helpful in making sure we were accommodated pre booking and all turned out well for each type of stay. However felt that facilities needed a bit of upgrade and definitely more of them. Lights in showers and glamping pods on a 10 sec timer which was very annoying. Very little info in pods so using heating a bit of a lottery on colder nights. Glampers kitchen would have been useful for a big group but not used as not clean or well maintained. Overall lovely location and friendly, helpful staff

Great location, pitches very good. Very helpful and friendly staff. However I have to mention the lights in the toilet block, they are on a timer and turn off in the middle of using the facilities. The cleanliness of all the facilities was not good, although I understand when the site is full it can be difficult to keep up with. I would have liked more than one pot washing sink, as again when the site is full queues were forming, the same with the toilet facilities as there were only 4 for 22 pitches.
