We went in this little shopping precinct tearoom. We stood there with no staff attempting to notice us. The place is little and most tables were occupied. A couple left there table, so we sat down at the empty table. Within seconds a staff member came over and ask if we had booked? I thought they must be joking at 2 in the afternoon in a local cafe. Can you fit us in? We asked. We were left in limbo for an age before they returned and said they could. Oh goodie! Judging by the look of the cakes I was expecting something super. It was all pretty average to be honest. Not somewhere I would go again.

I am a regular here with friends and family. They do the best lunches, you order a toastie and get a wholemeal with plentiful salad and crisps and homemade coleslaw, always delicious. The cakes are out of this world , always fresh and look decadent and taste amazing , portion sizes huge ! Always excellent service too … also you have to try their afternoon tea !

I was walking past this little tea shop and couldn't resist entering. Cuteness overload, glorious cakes and a good selection of teas and coffee's. I had the chocolate and courgette cake and it was blooming marvellous! I will definitely be coming back here!

Went for my sister's birthday. So much choice very reasonably priced. Quality of food excellent. The best coffee I have had since leaving Italy. Recommend the bacon and brie with cranberry sandwich. Also had home made cole slaw plus salad and crisps.

We took our Nan for her 96th birthday, the ladies were really accommodating and very helpful. The food and coffee was delicious! Would thoroughly recommend
Visited around lunchtime on a bank holiday weekend. 4 of us plus one well behaved puppy sat outside in the sunshine. Service provided by 2 very welcoming young girls. Large array of homemade cakes portioned generously. We asked whether they were able to provide some water for the dog and the request was met positively and quickly. The cakes were absolutely delicious - we had coffee cake, lemon drizzle and Bakewell tart,3 teas and a latte. Cost was £22. Not cheap but we felt absolutely acceptable for the quality and portion size offered. This really was a hidden treat where we happily whiled away an hour. Highly recommended. Sorry no photos of our chosen cakes - we ate them before photographing !!

It's a must visit... I've been twice now visit with a friend, had tuna and sweet corn sandwiches it came on an olde worlde tea plate accompanied with crisps coleslaw and salad the bread was brown and oh so soft! And a large pot of tea in what your grandma would have... So sweet and lovely! The staff were wonderful accommodating happy smiley and to top it off we had their homemade bakewell tart with clotted cream, it was heavenly

Went for a light lunch. Sat outside in the sun. Had a toasted sandwich and coffee. The cakes inside looked amazing but sadly as a diabetic I could not indulge ?Wheelchair accessibility: On ground level with outside seating and table service . I must admit I did not notice if there was a step into the shop.
