7 off us called yesterday for Sunday lunch..service was very slow got 2 out off seven orders wrong I'd ordered beef came out with chicken took it back then when it came back out after serving everyone else 10 mins dried up.veggie sausages came out with normal sausages which took another 10 mins to come back..4 then decided to order a pudding cappuccino cheese which I was warm due to been defrosted in the microwave..very disappointed we meet a friend who actually recommended this place has we were passing through on the way back home..we will take a different route in future

It is said he penned Saturday nights all right for fighting after brawling here and some of the other nearby pubs in his birth place of Lincolnshire. Read his book scattershot. It’s all in there.

Lovely little country pub, stopped for a late lunch on Saturday, fast service & food was excellent for the price. Last time I visited was a few years ago & had Lincolnshire sausage pie couldn't find it on the menu this time which was a shame as I remembered how delicious it was, ordered a all day breakfast which was lovely although not Lincolnshire sausage, my partner had a cheeseburger which he said was lovely.

Over the recent weeks it has lost it charm and some of its friendly staff. The food has always been good quality and hopefully the cook remains, however the cost of a packet of crisps at £1.20 is excessive.

Looks a bit tired , could do with a lick of paint , landlord wasn't very friendly and welcoming, but a great pint of Timothy Taylors ,but Market Rasen very nice ..
Food is fantastic, served between selectd hours but perfect fresh food. Nice selection of drinks and dog frendly.

Visited this evening with my wife while visiting the area. Absolutely fantastic food. I had a steak pie whilst my wife had the curry. This is a proper old style pub, very welcoming and friendly staff. Good choice of beers on tap. I enjoyed a lovely pint of Black Sheep (Rarely seen outside of Yorkshire on the pump). I need an excuse to revisit Market Rasen
