“Great little tearoom! Today we had my mother-in-law's 70th Birthday at The Vintage Tearooms. We had the room upstairs all to ourselves, which was a perfect size for the 15 of us. We had a mixture of children and adults and the tearoom catered for both, giving us sandwiches, cakes and scones that the children would like and then some different ones that the adults would like. They gave us everything we requested including decaf tea for the children. The room was decorated very traditionally and felt like you could be in a different age. I would recommend wearing light clothing in the sunny weather as it was a little warm and the sun was lovely and bright through the open windows. The food was delicious! We have a selection of sandwiches, plain and current scones, cakes, tea and coffee. I'd highly recommend this afternoon tea experience as the staff made it very special for us.”
