“Been here a few times in the last couple of months. The first was for a meal with the family as it was recommended. Food was superb, 2 members weren't too keen on the burgers, but the lasagne was highly recommended by my (mostly fussy) teen, and I wish I could eat the Bbq pulled beef brisket a million times. Server's were really really lovely, and we weren't waiting for ages! Very homely and comfortable.Went for the fireworks, they weren't too bad, plenty of food/beer to go around, plenty of room to see and everyone polite.Most recently went for a quick afternoon stop, they were busy with food so had a little wait at the bar, but again bar staff were lovely, other customers were friendly and we stayed about 45 minutes.I would definitley recommend, it seems popular, but not rowdy which is how I like it. Very welcoming, and not intimidating. Lovely pub right on our doorstep!”
