Came here with family for my birthday.The service was ok, the food came again it was just ok. One dish of veg to serve 5 people. The veg was very under cooked.We sat waiting for a staff number to come clear our plates and to see if we would like deserts, but after waiting half an hour we gave up and just paid the bill.Very disappointed as the 1st time we came the food and service was very good.

We booked dinner table for 4 with our dog, as unable to get confirmation from our hotel (Forest Pines). We were extremely glad to eat here, as the food was all delicious and Service was great from friendly staff. Food options catered well too for our Vegan relative.

Extremely overpriced for the quality of food served. £16.95 for Steak pie, chips and mushy peas. The Sunday roast (pork and beef) tasted very bland. The starters were were supermarket standard for £7.95 each. The service was slow although apologetic for being understaffed. Overall disappointing for a birthday meal out.

Stopped here for a drink, viewing property in this lovely village, nice atmosphere, busy all times of day which means must be good food, great and friendly service, plenty of parking. Look forward to sampling a nice Sunday lunch. Update stopped for a meal, had pheasant, really delicious lovely staff and atmosphere, and we might become locals ?

We decided to go here as we had a recommendation. We were not disappointed, friendly and efficient service from staff - well done guys not often seen nowadays . Food came out nice and hot , vegetables crispy and not soggy. We were a party of 8 and we all had different menu options and not one bad dish among them. We thoroughly enjoyed them. Deserts did not disappoint neither. Wld definitely return to this place.
