“A rare gem of a traditional cafe. Home style freshly cooked food. Lovely owner, passionate about her food and customer service. Excellent value for great food. Visited for the first time yesterday, had the best BLT ever! Freshly cooked warm bacon instead of the all to familiar cold hard stuff sold elsewhere, delicious! Returned this morning for a full English breakfast. Loved it, will keep me full all day! Highly recommended for those appreciating traditional cafes, nothing pretentious, just really nice food.”

“Popped in on hubby's birthday weekend after a little bit of shopping in the area. Wanted something quick tasty and filling before we left for home. Very friendly welcome from the owner. Ordered a BLT and a brunch. Did not disappoint. Very tasty cooked fresh and altogether a great find. The owner was chatty too and made us feel like old friends.”

“A fantastic building right against the sea. It has a pleasant cafe with a great outdoor seating area. I wish all this coast was as good. Very striking design with magnificent views. It also contains a working coast watch station staffed by volunteers.”

“I don’t normally do reviews but I feel I wanted to as I think the staff yesterday go above & beyond to help the customers, I watched one of the girls who seemed to go that extra step to help elderly customer who clearly wanted to talk, & she took her time to help when it was extremely busy. The young lad who served my father was helpful & patient as my Dad wanted to order something off the menu which they kindly did. Great place with very good staff, & this is what we need in the world. Keep up the good work”

“Great place for families, where everyone can choose different meals.Choice of traditional Sunday dinner (if visiting on Sunday), various cooked breakfast, traditional mains served with chips and peas, pasta dishes, curries with rice and naan, and various snack menu of jacket potatoes and baguettes.Also has a kid's menu, various starters, and menu options for vegetarians and vegans.Plenty of tables and chairs, which are all clean and promptly cleared after finishing your meals.Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming.Food was freshly cooked and well presented.”
