So friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door was busy but we didn't mind that as that shows that they place is amazing. The food is to die for its so delicious and mouth watering highly recommend this place especially if you do a day trip out from butlins to see the area.Prices are fair and not expensive

Lovely home cooked food at reasonable prices. On my last 3 visits I've had the Steak and Ale pie with homemade chips and peas all I can say is yum.

Had the winter special 2 for £12 I had the Ham, Egg & chips with beans as it was gluten free, it was proper ham & the egg was runny as requested, hubby had the Turkey & ham pie with chips & peas, good portions especially for that price & cooked perfectly such brilliant value, followed with fresh fruit pavlova gluten free for myself & apple crumble & custard for hubby, delicious, and served by lovely friendly staff!

Possibly the best roast dinner I've ever had!Everything cooked literally to perfection & generous portions. Never been so impressed - and great value too... 10/10 all the way ? ?
The food is lovely home cooked, not plastic out of a box. Good portion sizes and really reasonable. Great value tasty food ..yummy.One point to note it's cash only. There is a cash point a few hundred yards away though.
