The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. My only gripe (if I have to pick something) is that there is only 1 toilet for each male/female!The food is very good and very reasonably priced... would definitely recommend!

Firstly, it was still open at 10pm on a Sunday after a late arrival in Skegness. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.Goats cheese starter was tasty and generous as was thevRigatoni Meatballs which they made with gluten free pasta no problem.Great value.

Been here a few times food is good. Steak is always under cooked if you want medium ask for weldone and so on. Had an hours wait for our food last time when we advised on the steak issue. Said sorry by giving me a pint but still put it on the bill. So it’s ok but could be better. Toilets are small and the seat doesn’t stay up on its own. Steak in picture was ordered medium but it’s rare.

We eat here every time we’re in the area & always book ahead just to be sure we get a time to suit us. Extensive food menu & every meal we’ve had has always been beautifully cooked & well presented. Good selection of beers, wines, spirits & soft drinks. (The house white is very drinkable & reasonably priced!). The staff are very friendly & attentive without being overly intrusive. Highly recommend & we’ve already booked a return visit in August.

Went here while we were on a short stay in Skegness on the basis of reviews on Trip Adviser. It’s a little walk from the town but well worth it. Lovely stylish restaurant and friendly staff. The pasta bake I had was absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. Lovely fresh side salad with a good variety of vegetables and olives. My husband likes spice and did feel his dish which was described as spicy could have had a bit more but that maybe just his taste! I recommend this restaurant. Would suggest you ring and book rather than just turn up though.

Never got the meal. Arrived 19:15 which was our booking time. The tiny entrance foyer was full with people arriving for their booking and also, people ordering or picking up takeaways. We were told our booked table was occupied., and the people on it were "just finishing their mains" ! Told it should be about 30 minutes. We asked for another table. Something was set up in a rear room and we were then totally ignored for 15 minutes. So we left and went across town to Tarantino's, another Italian restaurant who fitted us in and gave good service and food. I'm reviewing that separately.

Well What can I say, apart from very disappointing. We've been going to San Rufo for at least the last four years, and we have always had lovely food and fab service. However these last three times we've visited, the food, and atmosphere in the restaurant has changed. Tonight was just the final. We got there at 7.30, the time booked for our table, only to be met by a queue of people moaning about their table not being ready. After about a ten minute wait they were shown to their table, and us to ours. So, this was 7. 45 by now... Fifteen minutes later we were asked if we wanted drinks and I ordered. In the mean time, a gent stood arguing at the bar about how rubbish his service was.... This carried on for around twenty more minutes. (In the mean time the people who was in front of us, and moaning about their table not being ready just walked out). Our drinks arrived at 8.30. Our order was taken at 8.45.... In the mean time a lady had obviously complained that she was getting cold, the restaurant doors to the conservatory were being shut. The temperature in the main restaurant just sored. It's not the coldest place in winter.... But in June and a very balmy evening to have the doors shut was just on the brink of sweaty and extremely uncomfortable. We decided not to have a starter, as we had decided to have a pudding. At 9oclock, our meal arrived.... Only for my wife's to be sent back because it was cold. 9.10 her meal arrived hot. We did eat our food which can only be described as first class. However, having finish our food the waitress just asked 'do you need anything else'.... A very professional term to see the dessert menu..... Not!!!! By this time, we had just had enough... I just asked for the bill.... Which was very quick at coming.... I paid the bill.... Will I go back??? No! We were never asked how our food was during the meal..(never had that before, the customer service was always good) When we walked out.... There was no thank you or good bye..... Just totally ignored. Good bye San Rufo....!!!
