Previous visits would have been 5*,but tonight we had arrived at 6.40 ordered drinks and then were told kitchen was closed. One of the group of 4 had called in earlier to book a table and was told just turn up. This would have been our first meal, had our round of drinks and left, this is my second issue the smokers seem to gather around the door so you have to walk through the smoke. Will give the pub another chance at some point. Our food and drink bill would have been around £80-90 between us.

Really great food. Lots of choice. 2 for £13 ! I had steak and ale pile and partner had gammon, superb portions, lovely and hot, excellent. Bingo after, drinks are very reasonably priced. Will return ?

We held a 50th birthday party last night, 3rd February, the place looks amazing now, staff so friendly and accommodating, the entertainment was fantastic and food fantastic.Will definitely be going back soon to try the MenuGreat place for venue'sThanks again Karl
Brilliant landlady & fun friendly staff. A proper local with bingo, karaoke, pool & darts teams. Clean & welcoming. Good selection of beers & proper pub food (would love to see some specials).

Went for lunch on Christmas Eve food was acceptable for pub food. However, the beer tasted watery it was replaced after they changed the barrel. However, it still didn't cut it..the interior was clean and tidy, no nasty smells.we were there for around 3 hours, but the noise volume got too loud, so we
