Cakes, coffee and service generally good. Interior decor a bit tired and worn especially in the back section of the premises. I prefer this for coffee and cake rather than a lite lunch.

Cafe Au Chocolat is a great restaurant in Stamford with indoor and outdooor tables. We had some excellent crepes for lunch. Good food and good service.

We called in for our first visit and were tempted by the extensive choice of crepes, savoury and sweet. The savoury crepes are made to order, the flavours are delicious and served with a smile. The menu has a wide choice of drinks, food and snacks. Should satisfy all tastes. It’s great to support the independent cafes, especially when they are this good.

Our first visit, we thought this was merely a chocolate shop but it is so much more. We both had savoury crepes, the Mediterranean and the chilli chicken. Our drinks arrived swiftly followed by the food and the presentation was beautiful, the flavours matched! Friendly polite staff. We will definitely visit again…

Priority is given to chocolate in this establishment, but I can't really say it's anything special. Service is okay, the atmosphere is okay but that's it....nothing special.

Extremely affordable and the staff is really polite. For less than £10, I enjoyed a brie and cranberry croissant along with a red berry tea. There was plenty of brie in the croissant, which was fantastic, and the salad was also really nice. Without a doubt, I would return.

A delicious savory crepe followed up by a chilli spiced hot chocolate made for a great lunch. A nice spot, a lucky find as we wandered the town.
I had a flat white brought to our table in lovely cups my wife had a fancy hot chocolate and a scone with clotted cream and jam. As someone who is picky about coffee I was impressed. My wife Hot Chocolate was pronounced hot and the scone fresh and tasty. Everywhere was clean and service excellent. Can’t find fault so a well deserved 5* rating

We had Savoury crepes. They were beautifully presented on the plates and they tasted just as good as they looked. The ingredients were very fresh. We didn’t have to wait very long for them to be served. There was a pleasant atmosphere in the cafe and the staff were friendly. The crepes were rather expensive, but they were well-worth the price. We would definitely revisit the cafe next time we’re in Stamford.

Very few choices of food. Range of crepes offered but not the best quality I’ve had. Bits of egg shell in the filling. The Gingerbread latte also had a bad taste to it. Not a lot of seating space and you have to order from the counter. Food did come quickly and the service was
