Have eaten here before and it was our number one choice to come back to when we stayed at The George. Lovely small restaurant with friendly service and great food. We will be back... just wish we didn't live 150 miles away! Sensibly priced as well.

Very warm friendly atmosphere. Food was really tasty wine was ideal and reasonably priced . We made the booking at short notice and even tho the hosts were very busy they squeezed us in explaining the table was already booked after us and at what time . At no time did we feel pressured we had a very relaxed time love the bistro will definitely return and advise friends n family of this adorable venue

A firm favourite of ours for many years, even during lockdown. The couple who run Cloisters and their staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food offering is varied and consistently very good. There is a good and reasonably priced wine selection.

Rather disappointed with our meal having expected better things from the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. The menu is very limited which is not normally a bad thing but there were no mussels and non pasta/pizza options only left a choice of tuna or pork chops. The shared antipasti platter starter was the best part of the meal with a good selection of cured meats and cheeses. My main of spaghetti carbonara was good, but my friend’s crab linguine barely had any crab and my other friend’s duck lasagne was so rich she couldn’t finish it. The most disappointing element of the meal was the side salads. A tiny pot of rocket with Parmesan (no dressing) and tiny pot of tomato salad were £4 each! This was extortionate for the portion size. Our bill was pretty steep for the amount of food and 3 glasses of wine at £37 each. We didn’t even have dessert!

Thank you to Jen who provided wonderful customer service. It makes such a difference to dining out when the staff are friendly and accommodating. The food was all delicious. Would definitely go again. And would definitely recommend. The place also has a nice atmosphere.

Went early on Friday lunchtime. Place was empty but rude waiter said we would have to wait an hour for a table. When questioned further he said tables were in 15 minute slots but gained impression we were not welcome as we were not dressed smartly. Saw two ladies turned away for the same reason. Took our business to Ask restaurant and had lovely service and a lovely meal. In this day and age of customer service this was very poor and will never visit the restaurant again.

Amazing little deli set in the heart of Stamford! The lady sales person today fantastic no pressure to sell you anything 10/10 ! Being an Italian we bought a few goodies as you can see by the pictures! A very high class deli & affordability is great ! Also next to it joining on to their restaurant very vibrant!
