Really good vibe in the day and filled at night with good music. Live music is the day and they serve southern food including 1kg of wings with any sauce (but maple & salt is the best). It’s a hip alternative bar with outdoor terrace space as well as an underground stage in the vaults. It’s a must

Came here early on a Sunday evening to mainly listen to the live music. This was my first visit. I would describe it as shabby chic with a hint of Boho. I was disappointed with the choice of ale, only one, so settled for a guinness. I didn't have food but others in my group did. It looked OK and they ate it all so must have been good.Had a very enjoyable time though and would be happy to return when in the area.

Love going to Mama Liz's. Great selection at the bar. The restaurant has the perfect variety of dishes all cooked excellently and terrific value for money. My favourite bit of Mama Liz's is the basement for live music. Great place for a proper close up gig.

I was completely disappointed by the attitude of the Security staff. We arrived about midnight the place was very full and everyone having a great time.A security Gard thought this was a great idea to walk through the crowded room with two cups of coffee in an open mug. He then had the check to accuse me of bumping into him and spilling the coffee on to someone. When I questioned why his coffee was not in a closed cup and why he thinks it’s ok to shout at me?He just continued to still accuse me in an aggressive manner.I clearly pointed out it was not my fault he failed to see this a safeguarding issue and his coffee needs to be a closed cup!!!!!

Our recent visit to Mama Liz's was fantastic. The staff were so welcoming & accommodating and the service we received was great. The drinks were exceptional and I'd definitely recommend trying the strawberry daiquiri & mojito's! Our group all had the best time so thanks to all the staff, we most certainly shall return soon.

Had an amazing time here with some friends. The barman was very attentive and made the most amazing strawberry daiquiri. We then headed upstairs for some food and every one of us commented on how good the food was. The server really looked after us. We will definitely be back again. Very good value for money and amazing staff.

This was my first experience of southern food and it was a delight. I went during lunch on a quiet weekday and the atmosphere was still great. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Prices were reasonable, but I’d pay double. I had the jambalaya and I would really recommend it to everyone. I’m already planning my next visit - who knew Stamford had this little gem?
