First visit to this restaurant and it was the best mixed starter and Madras I've had, a very authentic curry with amazing flavours, we loved it and will def be coming back.

If you like Momos, this is the place to go, had some veg momos delivered over the weekend and they were out of the world.Lamb chops and Cheese Naan - Lovely.Had also been to eat in before and never been disappointed, lovely staff.

Good food. Group of us and they made up a banquet style menu for us. Everything was really tasty.

Ordered for a collection, first time we’ve had food from this restaurant and we were very happy with our choice. The samosa was best I’ve ever had with delicious herby pastry, the rice was melt in the mouth and the pasanda vegetarian dish with paneer was amazing! Really good quality with fresh interesting ingredients and subtle yet depth of flavour. We liked it so much we’ll visit the restaurant next time!

I love the restaurant, it's a nice place to eat, staff looks after you, and they explain your food options. Once finished eating they offer a drink on them. ?Price wise not too expensive ??Parking: Street parking after 6pm unlimited, during the day only one hour stay, recommended payed parking.

Restaurant was quiet on a Sunday evening. I had a vegetable thali which was, quite honestly, one of the best meals I have had. Very tasty, nicely spiced, a nice variety of curries with properly cooked vegetables, and a superbly light and crispy onion bhaji. Can't fault it..friendly staff, nice vibe, really good food.

Fantastic meal here; we shared the lamb chops and veg momo for starters, and the chicken chattinad for main - all of which were really tasty, and the latter pretty hot too (but not a nasty heat, just a really lovely warming spice). Washed down with a bottle of Ghurka beer, lovely stuff. Staff were great too. I’ve just knocked one star off atmosphere because the same meditative song was playing for the last half hour ?Looking forward to going again next time we’re in Stamford.Parking: Plenty of parking outside; free after 6pm (I think may be slightly different for Friday which is market day)

We ate here last night and thoroughly enjoyed great food with amazing flavours and friendly service. onion bhajis were delicious as they were so crispy. Chicken shashlik, tender and nicely spiced. Naan bread thin and crispy just as we like it. If you would like a great curry in Stamford I’d highly recommend you visit Vansa Ghar. Thankyou for a delicious Indian meal which was perfect in the very way!

Had a lovely meal at Vansa Ghar last night. Even though I called late to book a table for two the young lady on the phone was so welcoming and accommodating it was refreshing for a 9 pm booking. We had a warm welcome and we didn't feel rushed at all. The service from the lovely lady was impeccable. So sorry, I'm unable to remember your name. The food was very delicious especially our main courses of salmon and goat on the bone. Would thoroughly recommend if you are in Stamford and want a tasty curry. Can't wait to visit you again when I'm in the area. Kind regards Mark & Carole

We ate here Sunday night and both tried the special platter Dhal Bhat. One vegetable the other chicken. Never having tried this before it was a great selection and reasonably priced at £16.95 each. The individual dishes looked quite small initially, however we were both full when we finished. We also had a bottle of wine.

Me and two friends always come here for our curry nights out. We live in Stamford and have tried everywhere else but this place is the best. If I’m being 100% honest the decor isn’t the kind of of place you’d take someone on a first date or if you’re trying to impress. But if you’re after amazing food and a really friendly owner this is the place.

Still believe this is the best curry house in Stamford. Great flavours and good value. Staff always very welcoming.
