My wife and myself spent a day in Stamford as we hadn't eaten since early morning when we left Norwichwe dropped by the Golden Fleece because of the location and outside seating. Had a couple of pints and some food both were excellent and the staff were very friendly and politeWe have eaten in many different places all over Europe and the golden fleece is up there with the best

Excellent place to eat, been 3 times b4, always had a great meal. Today I had Sunday roast lamb, excellent meal and skimpy with the meat. Food brought out in good time by friendly staff. Highly recommended and will always eat there when in town.

Wonderful Sunday lunch here today, just like home cooked and the lamb was fantastic . All the family enjoyed their choices, the beef, chicken and the lamb. All served with a massive Yorkshire pudding and delicious vegetables. Big thanks to Mandy and her team.
