Perfect place for an after dinner drink to catching your favorite team on the pitch. Great reuse space of a defunct hotel. Warm, inviting, modern with maintaining an old world charm.

nice food. service the day we visited was very slow. we had to 'grab' people for everything. i.e. to get the last 3 missing meals at table. to order for desert.. to pay..staff were obviously under pressure. unfortunately.our main server was devoid of manners, charm or any pleasantry such as hello, please, thank you. (shame, charm can do a lot to smooth over other 'cracks' in service)

We didn't have food but enjoyed the nice relaxing atmosphere over a few drinks. Compared to other public houses in the area they had a wider selection of wine and drinks. It's in a great location - Right in the centre of Stamford. We'll worth a visit.

We were out with friends who know the area, we visited on their recommendation. If we had been walking down the road, we would still have gone in.A large open bar area, outside seating towards the rear, could have more seating but it has what it feels is required.Good selection of drinks at reasonable pricesWould I go back yes no problem

We held a special birthday celebration at The London Inn Stamford with a large amount of guests. It was a while in planning and Harry was exceptionally helpful, made suggestions about types and amounts of food and table layouts. We used the upper floor as our private party. We had guests from far afield and even brought our own band! Harry was very accommodating with all of the intricacies we put to him! The food was amazing. Our guests were very impressed with the food and we had numerous comments about the professionalism of Harry, the venue and the quality of the food. Can’t thank Harry and his Team enough for a very successful party.

Top quality pub here. Breakfast top notch and the best I've had in a long time. Free drink included and there service was light sand friendly. They had an app option to order which I didn't get on with but you can also order at the bar or ask a waitress

a good looking pub when we stopped by in stamford. didn't eat but the food looked good. we drank and listened to the band that was on. it was very busy but suppose it was a Saturday night. good find
Beautiful pub, supported by parents with roasts through lockdown. Visited in person recently and enjoyed the roast and tapas options.

Looking for a delightful Sunday dinner? Let me share my experience with you. My friend and I made a spontaneous choice and we were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived, a kind and attentive lady made us feel welcome. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. And let's talk about the food! The dishes were not only delicious, but the portions were also very generous. I can't recommend this place enough. In fact, I can't wait to come back and spend a few more days in Stamford, so I can have another amazing meal here.

Called in for drink and meal...Wasn't sure what IPA Ales available and decided to order at Bar ..3 drinks back at table thought that seemed expensive. Asked at bar why more expensive. Reply that's because you ordered at Bar and not on APP.. Refunded the overcharge to my card..In reality I was charged more for walking to the bar. Saving the waiter walking to me!! Didn't stop for a meal went onto another restaurant. Certainly won't return..

We had the £18 for two meal deal. Scampi, chips, peas and steak and chips. Followed by one dessert. Can't fault it. Good value for money.
