Unfortunately, our experience at this Beefeater was less than adequate .... we arrived mid afternoon. ... had 2 disabled diners with us but was offered a table with bench seats .... completely unsuitable! So we changed tables, offered the evening and not the daytime menu .... I asked if there were any specials! The daytime menu was then offered. Three of the four meals were fine .... the fourth meal .... a 10oz steak .... ordered Medium Rare .... what was delivered to our table was about 1/4 inch thick and very over cooked! Our diner asked for a replacement steak .... which, when delivered after 20 mins and after everyone else had finished, the steak looked fine but, was in-fact mainly grisle ....
We were offered desserts. .... however we declined, and asked for the steak meal be deducted from the bill.
To be honest, the staff were very pleasant .... we did feel that staff training was lacking and we felt very disappointed x

Excellent food and service they have taken surf and turf to a new level no longer just steak and prawns,but now steak, King prawns.scallops and calamari..... Excellent all roundt

An impromptu repeat visit while waiting for a coach (long story) but the first outside of breakfast times. It's got a nice feel to the place, the staff are nice and friendly and everything is nice and clean. The food is cheap and cheerful . Definitely a good place to go if watching the pennies

Food was delicious. Waiting on staff friendly and helpful. Our grandson loved sharing my mixed grill he already had steak and chips of his own! The desserts were lovely pink gin trifle to share and chocolate brownie for my grandson.
